Sandy, she was 9 years old when she did this song. She knows what she's doing, and she is getting an education. I've been following her since 2014 when she auditioned, and she has never really behaved like a child. She's a phenomenon.

Angelina here is doing what Mozart did at 8 years old - performing and showing rare musical genius that we'd encounter once in a lifetime. Can't even begin to say how incredible she really is.
I traveled to Oslo last year to hear Angelina in concert on the occasion of her album ‘Its Magic’ being released. It was a rare privilege to be there and briefly to meet her.

On “I put a spell on you” Angie said it in an interview a year later (when she was around 10 at interview) about this song: “It means love Desperate love. It's very special, it's almost voodoo The original is very nice, and when I scream it is a desperate cry that everyone should love each other.” On "Feeling good" Angie was 10. She did it again & did the arrangement a little different for a smaller band at that she had for an outdoor concert in the same year when she was 10 also.
She's growing fast... She may be taller than most adults now at her age of 13. I think her body is trying to catch up with her old soul. I know it's quite impossible for her now to maybe tour the world and set foot here in my country the Philippines but I hope someday she will.
Five years is a lifetime. She is different now, has multiple albums, and no longer a little girl, since these two songs were recorded, but her musical genius continues.
I have listened to the video, I Put a Spell on You, at least 50 times in the last couple of months. I never get tired of her... She adapts her voice and timbre to whatever song she is singing...with great success...every time!
We run out of superlatives to describe this incredible phenom. I've seen both of these performances many times now (two of my favorites), and I'm still in AWE of her talent. All of her performances I have so far seen on youtube are basically live ones. No endless corrections and effects, none of the crap that makes common pop artists sound good. She stuns with a good guitar player and a single microphone.

After watching these two songs what do you say? Words don’t express, her singing touches your soul so you feel every emotion the song writer was trying to convey with his words. No one does this consistently like Angelina. Can’t wait for the next reaction on our barefoot angel.
Her screaches and growls are Impressive, but as a singer myself, her last note exhibits great timbe and control most experienced singers have to work hard at!
She has also published 2 books illustrated by her artist Iranian grandmother, plays 3 instruments, speaks 3 languages and has been insisting bands play to arrangements shes has written since she turned 8. Not the average young lady
Because of her young age it is initially hard to take Angelina serioussly, but because of her performance, she demands every bit of you- she pulls you in and leaves you with a mind blowing experiance. How on earth is a child (or anybody for that sake) able to perform in this manner? She is one of a kind! I am lucky that she is here while I am. Looking forward to new performances from Angelina❤
Yes, I'm sure it's her parents. Of course we all agree: She needs to have a childhood, so she can meet the world with strength and confidence. She should make music when it's fun. Just, God, let her continue to have fun with the music! Please, let her never tire of it! Let her love singing, and us love listening to her, for hours, years, and decades! I'm usually not prone to religious outbursts. In fact, it only happens after hearing her sing.

I watched her performance at the Alan Walker concert I personally could see the realization come over her that maybe she doesn't want to be that big , like it shocked her and spooked her , although I think her absolute best performance . Her mother is very protective, and turns down more than 90% of offers that have come her way, including Disney, cause she wants her to remain in school, with her friends in Norway. She does have her in a after school program for music and voice, she also plays piano, flute and violin. They have done a few things that don't take her away from school. She just wants to to remain a child as long as possible, they do a lot of charity events cause that is important to Angelina, and she doesn't ware shoes while she sings cause, because she is honoring poor children in the world who do not have shoes, and one child in particular in India who she gave her own shoes to, and she wrote a book about it.
Angelina has a republic rugs age of 14 and put records are very prestigious. Only take the best in the bath now she’s 17 and she’s raise million dollars for children’s charity. When you want to do another Angelina Jordan marathon try "A Million Years Ago" and "Stay." They are both performed with an excellent single acoustic guitarist. She is 12 (2018) in both of these recordings.

That is Screamin' Jay Hawkins, and she is singing this song in the same style that he used to do it. How many 9 year old girls from northern Scandinavia have songs by Screamin' Jay Hawkins on their Ipods do you think? She is simply a unique talent and I really like the way that you react to her.

Kevin Neal She is absolutely amazing here. I see where she has gone to LA in America. I am from America but live far away from the biggest cities. I agree that our system here destroys any talent that comes to it. It seems the glory, being famous catches up with them and they believe they have to party down, use drugs and they let their being famous go straight to their heads. I keep praying Angelina does not let herself get caught up in this crazy system. Everyone including me appreciate her the way she is and I respect her and her family for keeping her in touch with her roots

The funniest one is at the tavern where the handsome bass player is just goofing off and flirting with the ladies until Angelina hits her high note and then he snaps to and is obviously dumbstruck and starts playing right . She turned 9 two weeks before this. This was her Homage to Scream'n Jay Hawkins the origininal singer and writer of the tune. You saw her hold up his picture before being in the Studio. She wrote the arrangement and they gentleman reading her recommendations smiling and shaking his head was the musical director who she was informing what she wanted. She began singing at 1-1/2. Her Grandparents were a big influence her grandmother being the biggest. She exposed her to Billy Holiday, Dina Washington, Louuis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Gerswwin and many others.
How many super-talented child start have gone around the bend in their teens? Too many to count! Angelina was 9 years and 2 months old when she arranged and did "I put a spell on you", and 10 when she performed "Feeling fine". Her family was firm on one thing: She was a child and should be allowed to be a normal child and finish her schooling before going "commercial", turning down offers from high-profile organizations like Disney. Her public appearances were few and only for worthy causes, but she has been singing her heart out on RU-vid. She will turn 17 in January 2023.
