Amazing voice for such a young girl, like a jazz voice. Very intricate runs that she does with ease, great vocal range for that age, pitch-perfect, very sophisticated performance. I found Angelina online about 4-5 years ago...she is truly amazing on all possible levels for singing. She can take ANY song and make it her own....Shes going to be a huge star...I mean Taylor Swift huge if not beyond that....
Celine Dion has a big voice and sings her songs. Angelina Jordan sings her songs and tells a story with them. She doesn't just sing with a good voice. She uses every nook and cranny of the space she has to make sounds.
I follow her 6 years now, since she was 7 years old and she won Norway got talent. I listen all her covers and with her smokey , raspy voice and her emotions when she sing, all covers are better than original songs. I just love her. She is amazing now and she will be huge legend one day. This performance is stuning. Even Queen Woows her performance on Twitter. Will be mesmerizing if Angelina and Queen do this song together one day.
I'm surprised more people haven't yet heard of Angelina who follow the talent shows circuit. This should give her the recognition she's deserving of. I think she will surprise even her fans as the show goes on.

I only watched the show because I knew Angelina was going to be on it, and to tell you the truth I was very nervous for her. Up until her performance the show was clearly being over produced, over hyped, and the crowd was definitely being coaxed to over react. Then something strange happened. It's like the producers picked up on the shy, quiet nature of Angelina and they conveyed it well in her intro piece. Also, I have been wondering what she would select to sing. I was nervous for her in that regard too, but I had confidence in her ability to do the right thing. I must say, after her first two notes I was shocked. I never expected her to take on Freddie Mercury and Bohemian Rhapsody. That was a huge challenge. But her unique arrangement and stunning vocals had the judges and crowd in silent awe from the beginning. It was a virtuoso performance. Clearly Angelina outclassed the other contestants on this first night.

I've been following Angelina for several years now, and I am always amazed at her talent and her voice. Not just as a 13 year old either. As a person, she is so much further ahead of many that are twice her age or more. The other thing I absolutely love, is the music in the background, is an accompaniment to her voice, and not something that drowns out her voice to hide flaws. Whatever the future holds for this young lady, I hope that no one is able to change her to fit what THEY think she should be. She is Angelina Jordan, and she is already a star. Two performances I think everyone should watch are "I Put A Spell On You" a black and white video when she was 9, and her "I Have Nothing (Whitney Houston Tribute)", just after she turned 13. From there just work your way through the over 100 cover songs she has on RU-vid and enjoy that amazing voice.
Great video reaction. I read that her mother is protecting her from the music industry. She rejects 90% of the requests for her to participate in events. Her lower register is the best I ever heard. But she can go high if she needs to (she can sing Whitney Houston)
After she won Norway's Got Talent someone was asking her about "the new life after the win. When asked about plans for the future for Angelina mom said she will go back to school, she would still have her music but it would have to fit in a normal upbringing. And she has. She sang for the Nobel Ceremony, for Quincy Jones 85th birthday at the O2 Arena in London. She has done television interviews and sang. She has sung for at least two shows on American television. As a money making commodity she will always have someone who will pay her to sing. Her parents are wise to be slow and cautious.

Most people praise her voice which is incredible but this young lady is much more than a singer she also plays multiple instruments piano and violin to mention a few and if that wasn't enough has also written and published a book at 14 (as of today) she has accomplished and given more to the world than many do in a life time. One important thing to remember about AJ is that she owns the rights to everything she sings. She refused to sign for a record deal through AGT and they relented and invited her to sing anyway. She began singing at 18 months and due to her grandmothers influence, she was drawn to and fell in love with jazz and blues music. She has been arranging most, if not all of her music performances since she was 8 years old. Currently in 2022 she still performs barefoot, sews her own clothes, (the cloth is designed by her grandmother) and she stands 6 feet tall at 15 yeats old! We all hope to enjoy her performances for many years to come. BTW I'm 80 and have been involved privately in music since age 7.

In an interview he was asked where he displayed the statuette .The actor said in his culture you never brag about your accomplishments. There was a word for this attitude but I don't remember it. I first discovered Angelina Jordan Astar when she first participated in Norway's got talent 2014, when she was 7 and 8 years old. I would say, Kellz, that you have to be gifted to win a contest at 7 years old. The other contestants were very talented too, but were they gifted? Were they singing a whitney s song at 18 months old like Angelina did? Were they touching our souls with joy or were they just giving us pleasure for a moment? Were they changing profoundly our lives, like Angelina is doing to us, her fans, by transforming us into addicted individuals or were they only passing by? This genius 13yo (14 as of a few days ago) arranged this to nail a USA audience used to loudness, runs, high notes and theatrics, and she did it with spectaculer style. She is truly incredibly gifted. You are now going to enter the Angelina rabbithole; once you start looking at her volume of work (there's over 120 RU-vid videos) you will not be able to stop. She started singing at 1 1/2yo (YES!), blew them away at Norways Got Talent at 7 (8 in the final), has worked with Mark Ronson, Alan Walker and others, sung for an audience of 40,000 etc etc etc etc. She sang for Quincy Jones at his 85th birthday, he called her the greatest talent he had heard since Michael Jackson. it doesn't get better than that!
