Normally I wear my hair at least waist length, and I tend to grow thick hair. This summer I shaved my head and regularly touch it up. I think being bald makes me more attractive, and it's much cooler.
@CaptainFoufeu actually I have alot of hair on my face, thank god I'm blond, but I do have a quite a mustache. I shave on a daily basis because if I don't the hair will curl over my top lip and it looks freaky, I am extremely feminine and I've never taken a hormone in my life. Also shaving makes your hair appear thicker and courser because you are blunt cutting it. It cuts the end of the shaft so you don't see a neat tapered end, you see the flat tip where you sheared it off.

I'm sorry that you have polycystic ovarian syndrome. I can only imagine how difficult it may be to have that, as I too am sensitive of my own skin conditions. Despite it, I know you shave, and I'm also certain that you are a very beautiful woman, regardless. Nobody's perfect, but beauty lies within, not on the skin, right?
Shaving does not cause hair to grow, nor will it grow back thicker. However, IMPROPER SHAVING METHODS will indeed cause infections, inflamations & possibly give healthy skin serious diseases, like psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, folliculitis & erythema, as it happened to me. I think a woman getting a face shave is just for the "experience." The only way women can grow hair on the face is through hormonal changes in the body, either artificially implanted (gender reasignment) or caused by menopause.
@RushnutAJC I think women are just generally more attractive or "beautiful" than men. They have a much higher level of aesthetic ... thingy. O_o so yeah they would win out on being balled too ^_^
I don't understand why she shaved the face. It will not grow anything extra that she didn't already have there. Shaving dose not make hair grow. If it did bald men who wanted hair would shave their bald spot.
and what is the purpose of this???? I think it's really stupid to shave ur face, since there's a big chance, big dark hairs are going to pop out now, or is this what she wanted to achieve?
