We enjoyed the driving tour of Angelino Heights Jean. It looks like a neighborhood where we would love to live although the streets were somewhat narrow. We loved seeing the homes with all three architectural designs but really love the Victorian! We would think we were in the Midwest albeit with Palm trees. We were caught by surprise when you turned the corner and saw how close to downtown you were. Also loved seeing you constantly climbing in elevation. LA is a city built on hills! Thanks so much for bringing us along.

Hi Jean! I really enjoyed this drive! We live near Hannibal, MO, and this actually reminds me a lot of there with the age of the houses and the hills. The big difference is all of the palm trees. It was neat to see that difference. Thanks for taking us around!

What a lovely hilly area to drive through, Jean. It looks like a lot of people don't have garages at these older properties, as there's a lot of roadside parking? You were continually driving upwards for a long time, which was fun to see. Nice glimpses of Downtown. I enjoyed seeing the different styles of architecture too. Many of the Victorian Homes in Angelino Heights were built without garages because at this time horse drawn carriage was the main form of transportation. For homes constructed beyond this particular era, it's likely that only a one car garage would only be considered as it was more the norm. Multiple vehicle ownership was not common until the 1950s.
