28 inches extended length.
325 grams unstrung (347 grams STRUNG with overgrip).

About the racquet stiffness, Angell answered to me that: "Hello. We measure the frame stiffness at 28.5” and before the handle and grip are installed"
I would like to show you the Angell racquet closely, as I haven't seen anyone showing it clearly, even in Angell website. I've already played with it and I'm so happy. I'm gonna review the TC 95 soon.

At 5:35, it's the "bridge", not the "throat". About the racquet stiffness, Angell answered to me that: "Hello. We measure the frame stiffness at 28.5” and before the handle and grip are installed".

Very interesting....thank you Kimi. I've ordered 2 x 97 (16x19) and they just left London airport. yesterday. I did initially want 27.25 length, but very worried about having too high swing weight. So...mine will be unstrung 215 (plus leather grip) & 9pts head light. Looking forward to your thoughts after stringing and hitting with yours. Your current SW looks scary. Good luck. 👍

I think the foam-filled core makes the racquet feel solid and comfortable. Hope you receive the racquets soon to test it. I think you'll love it. 😁 The racquet makes me think that we don't need fancy technology to enjoy tennis and racquets. Just blend the design nicely together. @@TenniswithAlex 100%....fancy technology is mostly marketing. Without marketing the big companies don't get players to upgrade every year. I currently play with yonex vcore 97 hd. Will be very interesting how my new racquets compare. Thank you for the new link, looking forward to your thoughts. 🎾🎾🎾

I'm not sure if you play with poly but if you do, I'd be interested to know if you feel any elbow jarring or muscle fatigue with time with this racquet. My worry is the hollow handle. I would have expected it to have been fully foam filled at the very least and silicone filled at best. Getting neither feels risky to me. Great video though. Much appreciated.

I'm playing this racquet with Poly, low tension at around 20kg BTW. I don't feel elbow jarring. This racquet feels much more solid than my other racquets at similar static weight (I think because of much higher swingweight, twistweight). And so it transfers less shock to my arm. Foam-filled core bumps up those sw, tw. Elbow fatigue is because of my techniques and physique though. If my feet aren't lazy, then I don't have muscle fatigue 😋. My racquet is quite exceptional, fully extended, so it might be hard to foam fill everything.

@@TenniswithAlex It's impossible to hit the ball early all the time in order to minimise elbow stress and the test of a comfortable racquet is if it remains comfortable even if you hit late by design (a la Nadal). Given the very high SW, it's difficult to know if it's the SW or the low dampening giving fatigue. Anyhow, glad it's not causing you much problem so far, but the proof will be with time ..... From my own experience, I have also recently been playing with a high SW and TW racquet (with dampening) and though it was a WOW experience at first, in time, my elbow decided against it. But an interesting experience nonetheless :))

Yes, I see what you mean. I was in that situation and learnt not to arm muscle the racquet. And with this racquet, it's a lot more comfortable than my other racquets, because of the mentioned reasons. I have a suggestion: find the racquet specs that reach your intended SW (chat with Angell FB page customer support), and choose the lowest static weight possible 😀. I once asked them about a specific TC100 and they told me that 300/310gr versions have similar SW, for example. And because the Angell racquets have higher SW than usual, you can get lighter racquets with same performance.

So you don't love it? I guess the foam filling makes hard to keep sw down.

No, I don't say that I don't like it. I just try to give neutral opinion so everyone can have better perspective. I do like it. About the foam fill, in my opinion, it's nothing very special. Adding lead tape to non foam filled racquets feels similar to me 😀
