i've gotten into drumming thanks to these guys. the actual song to convince me to play was leech! but in this album the most satisfying to play have been "i long for rest", "BLOODTHIRSTER", and the three teasers that came out beforehand. for this reason these are my favourite from a drumming standpoint. for my personal enjoyment however, it's a hard decision between "Ad Victorium" and "Eternal".
@@ynyrjohnson3861 if you wanna hear shit that will make you wanna start drumming look up Origin. Or Archspire. Or Beyond Creation. Or Nile. I can play all of this stuff easy but is a good place to start from. Then you can move on to trying to learn some material from the bands i listed above. If you ever need any advice on anything drumming wise just reply to this and ill help you with whatever you need. Blast beats, gravity blasts, running 32s or heel toe.
Bloodthirster too cause gotDAMN. and im not really into hardcore very much, typically go for extreme death/tech death but ffffuck these dudes throw in enough variation for me to get down....also the song directly after and how it starts hahahaha "NNNNNNII !!!" hahaha
Requiem made me cry soo hard I lost my first love of my life taken an thrown out by my father from my life it brought me to realize that I love her still an cant let go.... thank you Angelmaker you made me cry for not Grieving for so long it took me a long time to see that she was the one an always will be my first true love
I'm 55. I've been lucky enough to witness some truly astounding bands in my time. That said, Bloodthirster, is easily one of the most intensely psychotic songs I've ever heard. Fist time hearing it, I went back and played it three more times, in order to ingest the madness properly. Intense!
The song Requiem is my personal diamond of this album. At the age I am, I thought I had time, but my mother passed away. The death hurts, but it’s the regret of our final moments with her in tears and me in anger. Call me a dick but I thought it was just an argument and not our last. Before I could apologize, she passed of seizure in the middle of the night, the and I’ve been listening to that specific song to cope. Angelmaker, loved your music since the very, very first music you put out. Dissentient being a masterpiece and personally most listened to. Keep it up. Thank you for your gift of music.
Many deathcore bands sound pretty "random" to me. Random guitar riffs without any emotion + random vocal flow, which together sounds like some random mashup of what people think might sound "hard". Angelmaker is not one of these bands. Might actually be the best deathcore band I have heard so far and in general wow what a nice band!!
Unwillingly felt Requiem deep, that sentiment toward a girl i... well probably just liked, manifested through psychedelic and dare I say desperation of a hollow life. The semblance of destiny synthesized in protospiritual madness, that sentiment fucked me up proper for a while. A beautiful song in any case.
These lads cannot create bad music. This album is spectacular. Riffs, solos, breakdowns, badass vocals, everything. I fear for the lives of everyone in the pit at upcoming Angelmaker shows.
Lmaolmao hahahahah 😅😅😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😅😂😅😂 i knowwwww! Those motherfuckers are moshin' for real!!!!! For real!!!! Lol !!! All Hail...🎼🎸ANGELMAKER!!!!!!!!💥💥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Holy shit that album is what i was waiting for, Requiem is a freaking masterpiece, love every song on it again. Can't wait till you come back to Québec, your slappings boiiis
@MaximilElon Mus homeless, ya can only get that one of a kind beautiful aroma & scent thats all their own, cant be found anywhere else so it would be like phuckn a unicorn
We are no longer the knights who say NI but furthermore know as the knights who say ANGELMAKERISTHEHEAVIESTFUCKINGDEATHCOREBANDANDISHIGHLYUNDERRATEDCOMPAREDTOTHEPOPULARBANDSOFTHEIRTIME...
Yea this is actually damn good most deathcore nowadays fast past craziness somehow this is slow but also some slam/brutal metal involved most deathcore bands cant do this among the rock genre by definition this whole album is very unique and underrated
And down descends the sound of the stars. The sounds brought forth from the reaches of heaven and hell. The forms herald by a deep resonance that shook my very soul. Here appoaches the ones of truth. The ones that speak unto the mortal souls of man... Here comes the AngelMakers!!
I have a theory most early deathcore bands "sell out" periods were merely because they weren't truely rooted in death metal and without more reference points in metal they copped out filling in with a simpler hardcore sound later on. The new wave and what I would say is a true second wave of Deathcore shows they have a true foundation of genuine death metal or even other non core metal genres. This band is truly diverse but still primarily a deathcore band. This is quality. I see them as basically the Carnifex of the second wave if that makes sense. We have largely dropped the days when it was all about the open note B string chugs and breakdowns and gotten back to what made Deathcore so cool in the late 2000's with all the hybridizing going on. I see bands like this SOTS, SOI as essentially vanguards of the new 2nd wave. A return to form.
Your theory holds up this band is definitely unique they literally use death/slam metal growls snare drums and chugs and mealdoic deathcore riffs and drumbeats by definition angelmaker is a hybrid look shadow of intent, a night in texas , shrine of malice, rings of Saturn, texas blood money are very good bands but they generic songs then and there angelmaker is setting to set the standard and or make a new wave of deathcore if not I'll hold my tongue
Was scrolling through my RU-vid feed and accidentally dropped my phone. Upon catching it, my finger touched the screen and this video popped up... Holy crap this album and band kicks ass!!

Nikhil Shakya the description is wrong moron do you even read the description🤣 talk smack then realize your the real dumb ass. Look at when eternal comes on in the description bud.
"There is nothing a man cannot do once he accepts the fact that there is no god." when I heard that line in the movie it blew my mind, but it goes beyond that in the song. Truly a masterpiece.
You have some of the most satisfying melodic segments here combined core chugs and breakdowns. What makes it work is the emotional hooks and outro solos. Major leap in maturity from these guys and a successful album.
The fact that there's now an entire generation that grew up with multiple genres of aggressive melodic metal, brings a tear to my eye. I hear elements of everything from cannibal corpse, to death, to deicide, lamb o god, to cattle decapitation, brain drill, hate breed, cradle of filth, job for a cowboy to despised icon, martyr a.d, unearth, shadows fall, to more melodic and fun stuff like all shall perish , heaven shall burn, white chapel, black fucking dahlia murder, I think really gave a shit ton to this new generation of death metal heads. Realizing that music is not something divisible into niches. It can be insightful, beautiful, gritty, pain and joy filled, cathartic, and confusing, technically blended in melody timing tone and sheer attitude. , brutality has entered a new epoch, and I am excited to see what the next decade holds. Hope we last that long boys and girls. Keep it up. And thank you🤘
God damn I am so pleased with this album start to finish. The best part in my opinion is the ending of Eternal. They can go from ripping your face off to gently stitching it back on. The acoustic guitar is just such an incredible touch and I love how diverse this band is. Angelmaker forever and always!
This album fucking blew me away, Ad Victoriam painted a picture of war in such an incredible way, and Requiem was one of the most beautiful and heart-string-pulling songs I’ve heard from any deathmetal band. My neck is gonna hate me so much by the end of this week...
Sabelo
Played it 3 times back to back already. Ive never been so confident in saying a band is my favorite. Out shine every deathcore band og or new. Absolute masterpiece
It's high noon on my sundial...heh heh huh huh. Took the day off to let this digest. No filler, ALL tracks are simply astounding to hear. . #justbecamereligulous
This album is an absolute masterpiece and everything i hoped and dreamed it would be. The ending of this was just as perfect as dissentient it was beautiful ! Thank you Angelmaker! 🖤
This album easily sits next to dissentient, I love it. Favorits other that the 3 promo songs are Ad Victorium and Eternal amazing melodies and hardcore beats. Keep it up!!
@quzat0r This scene must now be revisited and revised so as to better rep the African-British African-American acknowledgement and appreciation of horribly cheesy but well written comedy. I have ideas...
I really like where these guys are going, the many different vocalizations is pure genius. This album just completely erased that horrible "good"peace of mind i was trapped in.I feel much better now and i have my psychiatrist to thank for recommending these guys as a centerpiece in my ongoing therapy!
I got introduced to this by my friend Braden, he's a metalhead who loves guys like Slipknot, Metallica, Cannibal Corpse, Sleep Token, Angel Maker and more bands like that. He's the person that got me more into metal, changing my music taste completely. I gave him my album suggestion and first and that was Tracheotomy's Dissimulation EP
Just now finding this album, and I gotta say wow..... easily one of the best metal/deathcore albums I ever heard. Just every song is so different yet stays on the same theme. Also the artwork is absolutely siiick
Also to add, Requiem was one of my lesser fave tracks off the album..., but after hearing the backstory of it and actually paying attention to the lyrics.... wow, just goosebumps for the entire song.
@@banananaz674 Yess, I am not quite sure about being the best metal band, one of the best though. Do you know Infant Annihilator, Sloughter to Prevail, Lorna Shore, Swallow the sun and BE'LAKOR also? Those are of the best for me at least :D
