A real woman in real life. so sympathetic; so spontaneous. I just love this kind of mums; not acting or pretending in front of camera , she behaves as she is. May God bless her. Thanks for the nice video 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
I really wanted to make baklava and I searched all over the internet for recipes & decided to make your mom's. I could tell that her method & ingredients would be the best and.... it was the best baklava I've ever had!!! Please say thank you to your mom. God bless her! She's too cute!!!! ❤
I just love your Mom! What an absolute treasure she is! She cracks me up. Bless her and I will be making this recipe and I'm sure many more of her recipes as this is my first video. Thank you so much for sharing!!
This is simply one of the most delightful videos I have ever watched. It was so natural and warm, I felt as if I was in the kitchen with this lovely family, car oil and all! Thank you so much for sharing! 🙏🏻🌷🇿🇦
Sissy Piper I saw that Parthenon in a documentary about Harmony Korine and Gaspar Noe and told my mom about it once. She was disgusted and said it's a fake. Someday she should see it.
+FlyingOverTr0ut well, she's right it is a fake haha. it's pretty cool to visit, they have a giant size statue of Athena inside (she is as tall as the building) and there is a museum inside.
Angelo, Your mum is adorable reminded me so much of my own mum the love, humor, and laughter shared while preparing family meals just so entertaining.... Keep up the good work ....Thank your mum for the recipe.... God Bless
Omg...this was by far the best cooking video ever.....loved it. Please make more. The bantering back and forth with the cameraman was hilarious. The perfect dysfunctional family.i love that your mom is a neat freak.
Years later after this video was made and I'm making it for the first time with guidance from her . Fab 👌 smells delicious as I let it cook in the oven

Greek or indian, mom's are the same. She reminds me of my mom, esp the way she washed the chopping board n kept it aside, time management type clearing the kitchen hehe. So cute.
Greek people are great. I have one colleague in my work, she is absolutely lovely person. I’m living in Sydney and tomorrow I definitely try your recipes,,,,,,love, love, love. Your mom is so cute....
Wait, I'm confused... Do we need to change the oil before adding the nuts? Or it is after? And does it matter if it's synthetic? I hear that adds a special flavor that sometimes disagrees with the honey... Please can you ask your mom to clarify? Also, your dad RULES!
What a sweet, adorable, no nonsense down to earth lady. I have many Greek friends and she is the real deal. Will definitely be using this recipe. The old man was bummed out about his oil 😂😂😂
HI I am new to your site, I love your mom she real and not acting for the camera, so far I have tried spanakopita, and bougatsa came out the same as your mom, going to try Baklava. Thanks for sharing the receipt it is so simple to following when I watch her making it, not difficult I will continue to support your channel Thanks again.
This nice lady reminds me of my mother and aunt. Looks like the tipical christian lady (eastern Europe) - as all the women in eastern Europe are the best in Kitchen. God Bless !
When I was a teenager, I had my first piece of baklava, I totally fell in love with this treat but it was something i had to be discipline with, now I'm married with children and watching your Mom (who which is a Gem 💎) make this OMG, I just about had a Sugerbeties attack.
The word Baklava is of Turkish origin. [1] In Old Turkish, broad bean is called broad bean. Another proof that the word baklava is in Turkish is the rolling pin used to roll the dough, the arrowhead in the old language, the arrowhead, the arrowhead, the arrowhead [2], and its origin can be documented due to its use in written works before 1500. Buell (1999) stated that the name "baklava" may have been derived by adding the Turkish verb suffix -v over the word baγla-, meaning 'to tie, wrap' in Mongolian, but the verb baγla- in Mongolian is also an excerpt from Old Turkish. [3] The word has nothing to do with the Arabic word broad bean.
Hi I'm from the philippines! Your mother's version of Baklava is so good! It looks delicious 😋 and she's really entertaining too, It seems like I'm watching a reality show 😊
This woman needs to hand down her cooking secrets for sure. Greek is my favorite food in the world. It would be a shame to lose her secrets and skills. I hope you have sisters!
Is this your mom? She reminds me so hardcore of my own mother with everything she does. Maybe it's the Greek blood 😂 I almost cried that's how similar it is and thx for that recipe lol
I want to make a statement about BAKLAVA. First of all Baklava is both Greek and Turkish. Second of all When you cook a pastry or a dough anything smilar they gotta change color. This one didn't cooked well. I am making this statement as baklava lover and pastry lover. Also i saw a comment about honey for the syrup...NOPE Orginal Syrup for the baklava has no honey. Just water and plain white sugar with various spices(if you prefer). Make sure to research about Baklava's origin before shouting about it's greek or Turkish. We are sisters and brother and neighbors. Why hate? Make peace and break your boundries.
God Bless your Mother, Reminds me of my own Mother, no matter what race or where you come from Mother's with strong character have almost same reaction and expressions. 🙏God Bless these women and hoping I be the same way with my kids and husband.😂😂
