Nice review, I hope you get to do more, I heard that opening AC/DC note loud and clear. Impressive unit especially for the price when someone takes advantage of the discount. Thank you.
i think one of the best parts of this system that was only lightled covered was that it supports passive speakers, being able to upgrade your passive speakers without having to invest in a separate amp/receiver is fantastic, wish more turntables equipped with a built in preamp would have wired speeaker options,
I have Klipsch The Fives powered speakers and I also have a Victrola 6-in-1 Nostalgic Bluetooth® Record Player. Is it possible and how would you go about hooking the two together. The Victrola only has a RCA out and no ground. Any method I’ve tried has resulted in lots of humming. Or what turntable would you recommend for The Fives. Cheers ... Billy😎
By pickup, I assume you mean the cartridge? No. Fixed antiskate does not preclude you from changing cartridge/stylus. Having a fixed tracking force (as in no ability to adjust it) would deter me from changing cartridges, as tracking force is unique to the cartridge/stylus. Make sense?
I watched your review and some others - from there I bought this system for my son for Christmas and wow, what a disappointment. The first play of Dark Side of the Moon was great and my son wanted to hear all about the band etc,,,,then came SGT Peppers and I could hear the speed going wrong and his comments were expressing dislike for the song cause it was not sounding right at all. Then back to Dark Side of the Moon and it was bad...not just at the start but at the beginning. I checked the tone arm balance - it was fine. I checked the level of the table and it was fine. Tried plugging it in elsewhere without power bars etc and still the problem. Watched someone on You Tube you had the same problem and fixed it by adjusting screws around the tone arm - that did not work for me. I wrote to the company and no answer. I even told them that if they could not answer me then I would be writing a poor review - all I asked them for was advice on how to resolve the situation and if there was a pitch control or something. Anyhow, I ended up returning it - thank God Amazon accepts returns. Sorry for the negativity man but I think the best thing for entry level people is a used system that is made by the reliable guys - Technics, Duel, etc.
Yikes, sorry to hear about that, man. We've had pretty satisfied customers at the store (at least none have come back with issues). But sounds like you got a bad one. One of the problems dealing with an overseas company is that there is just no one to beyatch to when there's a problem. Glad Amazon came through for you.
I had the same problem but I played around with the counter weight and it seemed to fix the issue . I did have a question . When I walk away for 15 min or so the system shuts off . I then have to turn off and on the switch to have it turn on . Is this normal for this system ?
@@paulvonauch9419 Hi there...if you have a record on and it gets to the end, there is no auto lift and go back to pre-play position...it will rotate and rotate and then, when it sees nothing is done, it shuts itself off and then you need to turn the switch at the back off and then on again.
