In this sermon with a brief introduction to angels (Cherubim and Seraphim), we focus on the fact that God has assigned some of His angels to minister (serve alongside, assist, aid, help) us His sons and daughters, heirs of salvation. We consider some of the ways that angels assist us as God’s people.

We also consider some simple ways we can receive angelic assistance for ourselves, or release angelic assistance for others whom we care about, e.g. family members, other believers, etc.

We also clearly indicate that our focus has to be on the Lord Jesus, and we do not go pursuing after interacting with angelic beings. We also clarify that angels will not do what we are supposed to do. Angels will not make decisions for us. Through this sermon we are encouraged to expect and ask for angelic assistance in the everyday situations of life, because God Himself has arranged for His angels to minister to us.
