As an angels fan I came to the recap just to feel good that we finally won.

Some bad pitch calls, but what really irks me is seeing multi-million-dollar contract players jogging slowly down to first. You learn all the way back in little league that hustling down the line increases the chances of throwing errors. If these players don't want to try hard because they're down 7 runs, then quit. Go find a low paying job where they'll scream at you for being lazy. It's possible to come back from 7 runs down, but not if you give up.

Ironically I checked in on the score 1/2 way into the game and seen it 7 -0 and knew without looking it was a Hendricks start. Love the guy but this is not his year. He just doesn't have the velocity or change is speed of different pitches to keep batters off balance.

Angels win a game and split this series

I was again disgusted with the umpiring of this game. The Cubs were outplayed, but it doesn't help when two guys in two innings are called out on pitches that were supposed to be walks (both pitches well off the strike zone), completely changing the entire innings. There were so many egregiously bad calls, almost all against Chicago, that you had to wonder why the umpire didn't just had Craig Counsel a big jar of vaseline before the game. This umpire was just as bad as Angel Hernandez, if that's even possible. MLB management is the worst of any sport by light years.

Cub million-dollar babies. I would be ashamed to take home a paycheck. If I was working for an employer and worked like you guys with heads down because I was losing, I would get fired. You are showing the youth athletes of this nation, some real bad habits. Golden gloves, MVP's, on this team and you are performing like little leaguers. It seems some of the rookies are leaders of the team. Come on you big money players, start earning your pay. I know it is not an easy game, it is a game of failure, but you have done it before, get off your tails start concentrating and quit worrying about umpires and your temper tantrums and start playing.
