@@synthetized1239 nah i writte my melody on G# then i switch the main key from my melody to the key of my kicks that's because i physically play on my master keyboard or hardware synth with g# as my root or go to note I'm better at writting a melody in g# that's it angerfist doing the exact same things but he use C I believe is because he like C and C is the most easiest note to work with that's how all beginneer learn to use piano
Cubase as i also use. The best DAW when it comes to MIDI. The folder system which Pro Tools lacks is genius in Cubase and I would not work properly without it.
haha loved when he said if u leave the portamento up it sounds messy...code black seems to prefer the opposite...interesting how one sound is good for one bloke and better for another bloke...it's your music so why not make it how u prefer ;)
It's always depending the synth and the detuning of the lead as well ^^ all these parameters define the sound design signature of artists angerfist have explain that with 3 note chords portamento make something messy on the key and he is right ! you lose many harmonics and chords feeling when portamento is on but especialy when you play 3 keys on the same times but one you do like the first melody 1 sub for 1 high key it is like single note playing they don't playing on the same times ^^ at this moment even with heavy detuning lead portamento can be great but it's always depend
It literally says Cubase 6 in the top left corner... I am not intending to be rude but this is seriously taking laziness to the next level. You could have just read that and/or google it if you were unsure and you would have had your answer in just a minute or less.
Aight, makes some sense. Still, you could've just like I said and use google. I googled "what software does Angerfist use" and the first result I got was equipboard, which is a site listing the tools electronic music producers are using. There I found that Angerfist uses Cubase as a DAW/music program and also Ableton and there are sources provided to back it up as well.
