This is the definition of "Smoke Meth, Hail Satan" Once you get up to 170ish BPM it just turns into complete bullshit. There is not enough time between clipping out bass hits for any resemblance of intellectual or complex instrumentation. It takes a junkie, so high on himself, to actually promote and propagate this genre and consider him or herself a musician of any sorts. But then again look at the crowd; they definitely don't look like the intellectual type. At least with other high tempo music... let's say Death Metal, the musicians are performing incredibly complicated movements with their body parts that took years of intense muscle memory training to pull off. These DJs just sit on stage and pound their fist into the air. Shit, maybe I should get into this gig. Looks like they are making some bank. Also, why did director use the same song through out the entirety of the video, but at just increasing BPM? After all that bashing, I still can say I like a million times better than Dubstep and Trap. Keep it up.
Im an athiest who loves hardcore who has and never will take any sort or form of alcohol, drugs, or smoking. Everything under 160 bpm is just pure "im a lovely little princess who like kittens and fur!" The beats are too far apart, and it would take someone who only listens to the more popular genres and nothing else just in order to "fit in" to like that sort of music. But then hey, look at the crowd that likes pop/rap/any other popular genre, they dont look like intellectuals (probs cuz most people ARENT intellectuals). I hate how musicians at trance and other more popular electronic genres dance the whole time instead of focusing on properly mixing their music... heck i should get into that gig! Oh wait, im not because HARDCORE is the music for the gabbers, the freaks, the free. Every single one of your arguements, EVERY SINGLE ONE, was pure rage with a slight confusion of music. Death metal is more satanic than this in my opinion, but i dont listen to that so how am i to know :P HARDCORE will never die as long as the Gabbers, the freaks, still live! "No matter what everybody says, there will always be: HARD. CORE." - always hardcore, Bodylotion/neophyte. Also, I'm pretty sure at least 3 songs were used in this mix.
But you took the time t watch the video and write an essay on this, Guess what No one gives none of the 20,000+ People who went give a fuck about what you write lmao
You give your point about an aftermovie made to have fun on the most famous hardcore artist, so basically that is not in too complex musical production, but still extrememly solid and you don't seem to know than this and hardstyle are the hardest existing mainstream styles to produce. Check "Angerfist - the Desecrated" for exemple for complexity, it's true that his latest tracks are more about high bpms and few melodies, solution of facility because his audience likes it as much as melodic side. I don't really, like you, and I'll give you some names that will make you change your mind about hardcore and complexity, musical musical quality ect... Look for Ophidian mostly, The Outside Agency, Promo, for faster non-stricly hardcore stuff Neurocore, Xanopticon, Igorrr, Odaxelagnia, The Frey effect, Atomhead/Undacova...And Slow Hardcore you'll probably like: Embrionyc, Fracture 4, Mindustries, Cubic Nomad, Cyberstruct, Starving Insect ect...
