Sorry to break it to you but hardcore wasn't born in the Netherlands it all started in England. Gabber? yeah maybe, but its all come from one place originally which was here in the UK.
You did some research, but you didn't do your research good. Hardcore = created in the Netherlands. In 1990 the first hardcore track that has been created ever was called We Have Arrived (1990) by Mescalinum United, and it was played for the first time in NL. So yeah The Netherlands did create the Hardcore genre. Hardcore has been created from music from hard house and acid trance, which grew a lot because of a rave party in 1987 in the UK. The first country that played a real hardcore track was NL, also the hardcore became very very big in NL, the best hardcore dj's are from NL. So yes it had influence from music from the UK. But you can thank NL for creating it and let it grow so big.

I've heard people say that all EDM needs drugs in order to be enjoyed and I've never agreed. I do believe this is what they were talking about because you definitely need to be on a nearly lethal combination of drugs to be able to enjoy this music at all. It's just smashing 1/4 notes with the same sound over and over again with almost non-existent melodies and harmonies. I know I'm going to get a lot of fuck you long live hardcore responses but really, how do you justify listening to this?
im dont like dubstep just because when i hear music, i like to listen to the its structure. and dubstep for me is just irritating for my ears. but i respect your opinion. i love hardstyle because when i went to Ultra, Identity Fest, Tomorrow Land, Coachella, EDC, when hardstyle came on, PEOPLE WENT CRAZY and when trance played, i can see people being taken to another world, and the feeling and connection they have with it. dubstep.. i see people like sometimes moshing or going retarded lol.
Many musicians think they are long-lived into music buiz, with the electronics you can do 5 songs, but then to be able to churn out many discs and mix like angerfist you need to know your job. People like the one down this comment do not make a constructive criticism, Sawjar better u buy a diaper for the shit that you would do. People buy cowboy boots and then put out the cigarettes on street corners, I doubt that with a concrete mixer you could do music so electronically processed.
ok lets just stop this war between hardcore and dubstep they both are different music genres and have different things in them just because you like one doesnt mean the other one is total shit. for example im a heavy hardcore fan but sometimes i like to listen to other stylez because eventually listening to just the same style of music becomes annoying so i like a bit of variety
here's a tip to everyone who trys to search up a song which they really like but don't know the name of it, what I always do is listen for a keyword (maybe an overused word in the song or maybe a word said at a certain time) and put it in youtube along with what genre it is (hardstyle, hardcore, hardtrance, hard techno etc.)

Hey just to point this out to you but you do know Hardstyle IS Hardcore the only major difference is that the Bassline/Kick drums also carry a melody/harmony? Production-wise is basically the same thing.

If you say your a fan of dubstep you have little 2 go on most dubstep sounds like transformers gang raping a dolphin but thats just my opnion and not everyones the same....
Just started listening to Angerfist again, told a few friends. Got shitty replies from them. Made me realize how you don't need friends when you have fucking great music.
if you consider a music as noise think about what the music wants to transmit (dubstep mostly darkness(if ur listening to the real stuff) and hardcore power)
