Every time I used to drive through Charlotte, NC i would hear this on a radio station. It took me years to finally find out who did it. That was before smart phones. Lol. Loved it then and love it now.

I’m a drummer I shared a few stages with Angie I’ll never forget playing landslide with him at a place called the Barn just me with a floor tom and Angie we never rehearsed it he usually did the song solo and we left the stage he saw me playing my floor Tom like a talking drum by blowing air into the vent hole at rehearsal and said that’s pretty cool and never said another word about it until about 10 seconds before we played it I was as blown away by his voice and the moment as everyone in that room probably more so , what I would give to have that on tape honored to have shared the stage with Angie great guy amazing talent .

To truly appreciate this man's voice you must see him live. He's one of very few artists who sound much better live. His recorded music is stellar so that should tell you something. The American is beginning to end flawless & Spaceship isn't even the best song on the album!

I've been listening to The American and Angie Aparo for nearly 20 years now; it's such an amazing album and Aparo is truly a fantastic artist and one of the great singers. It's a shame that he hasn't skyrocketed to stardom unlike so many garbage pop stars. Keep on keeping on brother I love your work.

When people talk about their favourite singer/songwriters, I always say Angie Aparo. This song has lived in my heart for decades now. Thank you Angie, you will never know how much your music has meant to me.

Man... Memories. Saw this guy at a small gig back in my hometown in 2005(ish). When I was roughly 2 years out of highschool. Nostalgia hits hard in the Chorus. I can almost smell the summers and feel sun the hitting my face on a clear blue day.
