A lot of times Tamron doesn’t think before certain things she says… what a disrespectful thing to say to your guest tf? “Took 18 minutes to get a real answer” it’s evident she just wanted to pawn her into talking about her accident, what if she didn’t want to reflect on that?

How did it take 18 mins to get a “real” answer when you just asked the question, specifically about the accident? That was completely disrespectful and rude to Angie. Angie was open, honest and real throughout the interview. Be grateful she took time to come on the show and share with everyone, including you Tamron. Maybe you can learn something from her.

Whoah! Everyone: calm down! Angie didn't take offence, and as a professional interviewer herself, she knew EXACTLY what Tamron meant! An interviewer is less focused on the answers she is giving and focused on the questions she wants to ask - so she gave honest answers, but didn't wear her soul and heart on her sleeve.... UNTIL she spoke about the accident.

I understand Tamrons situation about staying plugged in and thinking she is present but there is NO way you can truly be present when constantly plugged in. She might think she’s present but it’s different when u have No distractions. Angie is always REAL ~ no fronting w that woman it did not take 18 minutes to get a real answer…and that’s insulting to Angies character…it took Tamron 18 minutes to ask a real question about her trials w her injury and once Angie began to express the layers..she got cut short bcuz Tamron was so adamantly defending that she doesnt need the lesson Angie unfortunately/fortunately got. 🤦🏽‍♀️😏 Tamron made this weird rather than celebratory at the end ~ Heed the wisdom Tamron and don’t wait til GOD sits ya down. BEAUTIFUL Soul that Angie Martinez cant wait to watch IRLs new drops! Respect and Continued Success!!! ❤️👏🏽

@@msjazzib yes and I understand i dont think tht was Tamrons intention at all but it just felt awkward when she Popped up a photo of Angies MAN and Angie was shocked 😳 (which she is intentionally VERY PRIVATE and protective about her PERSONAL LIFE) and then kinda abruptly calls her our at her Most vulnerable moment of expressing her near death life altering experience) Maybe im just triggered lol but i was excited about this interview its sooo rare to here Angies personal life and was disappointed by The Energy of Tamron ~ mayb it was nerves talking w some1 so iconic. They’re both lovely. ❤️

@@mrs.choosingmyhealth yea i dont know i see this alot where “interviewers” use their platform as a “counseling sesh”for themselves when inviting guests on their platform and im like…ummm why are You speaking sooo much? when i thought the purpose of an interview is ur here to ask and listen. idk i think the platforms “are trying to feel” like its 2 old friends chatting rather than informing us about much on the actual person/topic..the vibe is definitely different. We never know what others really got going on • i think its telling when you are speaking about being able to be present while your always plugged in and aren’t present enuf to listen while you’re talking about how “not real” someones been for 18 minutes ~ you’re counting minutes and definitely not present. 🙄🤦🏽‍♀️

Yea…the commentary on 18 mins was a little condescending & distasteful… Angie was the “real her” those are just different expressions of her! There’s nothing wrong with being reserved and particular about what you share with ppl. And the reaction she got is an exact example why it’s good to be ! I think sometimes these interviewers make it more about themselves in these instances than about the interviewee. Who cares about what the audience thinks if the guest is not comfortable smh but Nevertheless enjoyed this brief clip of Angie and look forward to the podcast!

I know what she means. A similar situation happened to me when God wanted me to rest and I was trying to do all these things. I got into a bad car accident that was really a spiritual attack on my life. God allowed it, but he did not allow the enemy to take my life. After that, I had no choice but.to rest. Almost 5 years later I still have a lot of pain, but God is a healer. I didn't understand it then and sometimes I get frustrated now, but God's ways and thoughts are not like ours. 💯🙏

I agree. I think Tamron already had a preconceived notion that Angie would have a wall, so she (Tamron) believed she (Angie) did. I thought Angie was very open, and I didn’t detect a wall at all. Tamron missed it on that one.

Yall are a bunch of haters. You can clearly see that they are good friends and are playing around. It’s only when they got to the heavy stuff that it got serious. Maybe the delivery wasn’t how you would like it, but don’t over analyze there interaction because Angie knows how to check someone if she had to.

I love Tamron but she was doing a lot. Cutting Angie off with every question and then discounting her honest answers. Angie literally just got off a 6 hour flight and came to your show. How about show some understanding and grace if all her answers aren't "deep" enough for you girl? Angie was tired! And still gave a great interview, while serving body AND boots!!

I don’t know why I keep watching Tamron Hall … I want to like the show but the way Tamron cuts off her guest mid sentence just bothers me. While they’re talking, she always has to insert herself in their story and then make it about herself…😬 LET THE GUESTS SPEAK!

Tamron was being condescending almost. Definitely off putting. You can go back and see how uncomfortable Angie sorta was but she held composure. That’s annoying. Must be annoying in that business to feel like you’re having a vulnerable and open (off the record) conversation and here tamron comes with the interrogation. Gotcha moments at their finest!
