Why should guys give a lady money when they are not yet married. This is a huge cultural shock to me coz in my culture parents continue taking care of their girl-child till she official gets married or when she formally tell her parents that what she is earning is now enough for her otherwise I don't expect my daughter to be going around begging for money from boyfriends like this. It looks like these ladies look up to their boyfriends for everything. Obviously it strains the relationship. The way I see it it's not the lady is over-expecting, but rather there is a fundamental problem of ladies depending on boyfriends for everything b4 they are married. I blame parents!
