As a point of departure, I'd like to congratulate Maya on her improvement. I feel like we bash her more than we applaud her even in circumstances where negative criticism is not merited. She was well dressed, eloquent, allowed the parties to speak without interjecting unnecessarily... I think she did good here. I have noted comments that said King Ginger would have handled this situation better. I tend not to agree fully. He is a great presenter and I have much respect for him, however, what we have just watched was not just a breakup but also a family dispute as there is a child involved. I feel like King Ginger would have been too much. He's good for the streets. He's just too hyper for such situations. Therefore, Maya was well placed. Other people that would have killed it include, Neexy, Mrs Kay and Juice SA. They have the appropriate demeanor for this. King Ginger rules the streets and he's doing great there. As for the couple, I don't want to make a rush judgment because it seems to me like they both have a degree of blameworthiness. For instance, the woman brings the man out in public to talk about how she feeds him, that in itself is repulsive. He, on the other hand, is ashamed of her so much so that he would conceal her and their child from his family. Above that, that whole situation with his phone raises an eyebrow. My conclusion is that fault can be attributed to both. Be that as it may, she's well within her right to leave. One last thing I think Maya should look into is the fact that when someone comes to the show, they too might be wrong but fail to recognise it because of the height of their emotions at that time. It's always good to approach it in a way of saying "yes, you want to break up with him because he did this, he says he did it because you did that. What do you say about that?" In that way, no one walks out of the studio feeling like they were being ganged up on. Maya did exactly that on this show. I commend her for that. Otherwise, great show Maya, and you're beautiful
