That was a really nice red homey. I landed a 42.5” bull red at PINS today. I picked it over the third bar & drug it in on 17 lb mono. That was a long pull & heck of a good fight.
I was using an Italcanna A4 & it REALLY bent the tip over. I was re-baiting another rod when it hit & I was thinking “Please, God, let it not be a a ray.”
I would love it if you did a video on how you carry your tackle what do you have it in? Do you have an in Ziploc bags? Do you have a huge tacklebox for surf fishing how you’ve got it laid out everything you bring with you and how it’s all put into whatever carrying case it’s it.
@@BeachBomberFishing I remember seeing it all the time but never stop. But I do remember curls when I was 5 years old caught a 45 inch bull red and took my picture had it on the wall 😭
we caught everything in the water yesterday except flounder n reds in freeport up and down the intercostal. some huge sheepheads and extra large whitings. good fishing tho!
Awesome videos! I live in LaPorte and always looking for good spots to fish because I don’t have a boat. Where was this bulkhead by the monument you was fishing at? Been by the monument and never seen this area!
It prevents the bait from flying off at the start of the cast. Most of the time, the weight has so much inertia, that they force of the weight pull causes a whiplash on the bait. That makes the bait fly off.
Your not too far from lake Livingston & Trinity River. Want a big alligator garfish? I routinely catch 50-80 lb fish. Last one I caught 6'6" long 100 lbs plus, broke brand new rod on one fish lol. Contact me if interested for a video? I grew up there Texas City, know the Duke well. Left side between the hill and the first pier is a sand bar island about 80 yards out. Commonly fished off of. High tide you might be standing on 3-4 spot of island, but relatively safe.
very nice fish. curious what test braid and leader, also rod lengths. I own an 9, 11, and 15 fishing Chesapeake Bay, many rivers and tributaries and of course Va. Beach all the way down to Cape Hatteras. Tight Lines ma bruh~! < <
C'Mon B~BomBer......a real fisherman woulda kissed(open mouthed) that crab for good luck but we know ya got tricks you ain't telling about...lol, knock em' out!
Why would you use black drum as bait? Just get mullet. Granted black drum aren’t considered game fish, but using it as bait is kind of sacrilegious. It’s a good eating fish that deserves better than being used as bait
para que sacar un pez de profundidad y lastimarlo durante su acarreo a la superficie y después tenerlo sufriendo la descompensación para solo tomarse una foto y después soltarlo.
