Thank for commenting and very glad you like it, Elyoslayer!😊 Playing Megadeth on Hetfield’s guitar I’ll probably end up in metal jail in the afterlife 😅, but I have to give credit to Big Hairy Profiles for the tone. It’s the Kemper ADA-MP1 pack - profile XBBE, which did play nicely on EMG81s. Have a great weekend!🎸🎶
Greetings from Germany!!! Thank you so much for that vid!!! I'm trying 20 years to figure out one Part of a Riff and you're playing it so easily!!! Thank you so much!!!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Hey, Christian!:) I immensely appreciate your comment, and really glad you got something out of it! Ah, you bet it took me some time to nail this song, too, hehe. Have a great week!:)
Hey, dariorodriguez! Yeah, totally! It’s such a cool song with those inverted chords, and chromatic and diminished riffs! Hopefully you’ll memorize the song after a couple of play-throughs. Have a great time rocking out and thank you so much for commenting!😊🎸🎶
You’re a beast on guitar! Excellent work! That was the best tutorial I have seen yet! You included not just the music but tabs, diagrams, techniques with the double camera shots. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I learned that song within an hour watching this. Please more Megadeth!
Hey, E. Squatch!😊 Thank you so much for your kind comment, and feedback! Really glad you liked it. Will be making more videos in the new year. Have a great Christmas time, dude!🎅🏼🎸🎶
Do "Kill the king"!! And thanks for this forgotten song, is a bit of a codex of metal guitar that enriches the electric dictionary. Thank you so much for the rhythm section, always harder to find than the solos!
Thank you so much again, Dario - very glad you liked it. 😊🙏 Yeah, this song completely rocks, especially with those nice inverted chords aka Mustain specialties. And “Kill the king” is duly noted - and a top suggestion! Have a great evening!🎸🎶🍻
Great tabs, cheers🤙🤙. In live videos Dave’s chords in the chorus look different, power chords(R5) instead of power thirds(R3/m3). I guess the chorus tab is what the other guy is playing??? Thanks.
Hey, AntCramp!😊Thank you so much that! You’re absolutely right - live Dave does the power fifths and Marty did the thirds. The tab I was working from only had the thirds, and the sound of the studio version had those (to my ears), so I chose to do it like that. Thank you for pointing it out, though! Have a great weekend!🎸🎶🍻
Hey, Francesco F!😊 Thank you so much for commenting - and you’re very welcome. I definitely had to work on it a bit before it sounded good, especially that main riff with those single string notes and palm mutes. Have a great weekend!🎸🎶
Hey, Jason - very sorry for the late late reply - I haven't heard of them - but a cool song! Got a bit of Van Halen-feeling to it with David Lee Roth vocals! :) I have a couple of other tab-videos coming, I will look into it and see if can mange to tab this one, too.
I love this song, and at least its not as hard as holy wars... so I can learn my fav songs on guitar like Symphony of destruction, a tout le monde and angry again.... dont even tried to play Washington next, it would be impossible, this man is a god
I love you for making that comment!😁 Yeah, the Explorer is such a fun guitar to play, gives you that extra attitude/Hetfield-swagger instantly. Thanks so much - have a great weekend rocking out!😊🎸🎶🍻
@@VemundOsland there is a lot of people streaming demos with explorer playing soft rock damn it. It's like a blasthemy not to play Metallika or Megadeath on it
When I play 0-2-2 0-3-2 main riff it just sounds like a 022 032 chord, unless I play very slow and deliberate I can't hear the individual notes the way its supposed to sound....I don't get it.
You’re supposed to play 0 0 2 and then the next note is 3 2 2 0 3 2 0 All 0’s are an open E string and the 3’s are all on the A string. When you do 0-3-2-3-2-0 you press the second 3rd fret A in the riff but instead of continuing to an open E you instead strum the 2nd fret A string right often AND THEN an open E. Basically barre the 2nd fret A and D strings and place a finger on the 3rd fret A but when you strum it for the second time as you return upwards to the open E you just release the finger and strum it twice therefore strumming the 2nd fret after.
Hey, Joakim! Ah, I know...I had to practice this chord/stretch for a while, too. You could play it like this: E--x B--x G--2 D--x A--3 E--x Middle finger on 3rd fret, index finger on the 2nd fret. Good luck! :)
Ah great suggestion, adam! I'll put it on my list definitely! I've had to prioritise other work for the moment, but I'll get back to making videos in the near future. Thank you for commenting!
I'm really digging the format and the way you go about explaining the parts of a song. Don't need to hear a bunch of BS talking show it slowed medium fast. And show the tabs . Thanks man.
Thank you so very much, Max Ammo, and for liking the format. 😊🙏 I always thought this would be a good way to present songs. Have a great day rocking out!🎸🎶
