Good Quality copy of 'Scott and Charlene's Wedding' scene (1989) featuring the famous Angry Anderson song "Suddenly". Check out a very young Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Guy Pearse, Craig McLachlan among many more of the original cast!!
This Neighbours cast from 1987 has to be the best soap cast ever! You couldn't get a better cast. Furthermore, the Angry Anderson song is just the perfect love song for the wedding.
I grew up listening to this song with my dad. Around 2016 we were in holiday with his girlfriend and I asked when they were going to get married, they laughed and it wasn’t mentioned again Then, late 2018 or early 2019 when me and his gf came back from swimming and he led us to the summer house. Inside, he had printed 32 photos put on the wall in the shape of the wall with “Will you marry me?” in the middle. Then it all made sense to me, I had gone out to the town earlier that weekend and he had printed those photos right in front of me. He also asked specifically when we would be back from swimming- so he could get everything ready. She said yes and they got happily married May 2019. This played as she walked down the isle. I was lucky enough to be a brides made and the look in my father’s eyes when he saw her… Pure love. I am so lucky to have her as my step mother. I will always love both of them and this song is a memory of their love for each over.
Remember watching this with my Mum in Ireland in 1988. I was 13 so wasn't cool enough yet to be embarrassed. My mother loved this song. She passed away a few short years later. Great memories.
I haven't thought about this TV Show in probably 30 years but I can name every character looking at it now. I was 13 and we really didn't realize how special the 80s were or what was ahead of us with technology and the madness it comes with. Peace and love 80s kids. X
Fun loving and free now 2023 incoming programmable digital currency and social credit slavery system and 15 minute prison city's.. why is no one standing up and fighting for our future generations freedom that we had 😢
Simply the best equalled Charles and Diana's wedding with viewers def the best era of neighbour's but gutted it's now been axed another end of my childhood gone
I watched this when I was a 7 year old girl. Charlene was my everything! I’m now 40 and still watch Neighbours religiously. The song gives me goose bumps so strong it hurts! I told my husband-to-be I want this song at our wedding. 😍🥲
Now if I was a neighbours scriptwriter, Kylie And Jason back for last episode, guy pearce, Des Clarke, Harold, etc, closing scene they renew their vows, no better ending, surely as this plays over the top 😘
Mine too, and also when I thought I was in love for the first time. I too would do so many things differently if I could go back. Actually, I'd go back to 5 years old, have my ADHD diagnosed and treated that young and much would have been different and better just from that alone I think. But if I had to just go back to 1987 yeahhhhh... that would work for me. I'm all nostalgic now. 🤔
One of my best mates in the 1990's had this song as his wedding song (Glenn & Mary)... broke my heart his marriage only lasted 6 months before they separated and went their separate ways. Still a beautiful memory and Angry Anderson delivered and enduring masterpiece of a story of affection and love...
This song reminds me of my teenage self everyone rushed from school/work just to come bk to watch neighbours and Jason and Kylie WERE neighbours they were the show after they left went totally downhill
Heather Camball I was 13 when I first saw this, I'd actually sneak out of school every lunchtime and go home just to watch neighbours. Then I'd watch the repeat in the evening as well :)
Quite frankly the biggest ever moment on tv in my childhood! I would say even to this day this moment has still never been topped. Here in the Uk even to this day when millions watch something on Tv, the viewing figures are often set against those that watched this on our screens.
Great memories 👌 ❤ in Britain 🇬🇧 twenty million viewers watched this wedding and guy peace who played mike for five years became a Hollywood film star beside fellow ozzie russel crowe !
so very powerful moving and sphuberb i was so emotional i wish i was scott kylie looked so beautiful and always will the most beautiful female star and icon of australia
A pivotal moment in Australian culture in 1987 when suburban duo, Scott and Charleeeeeeeen, got hitched in the local church. Suddenly every mulleted Bruce and bushpig Tameeka from the burbs were using this tune at their weddings. Ugh.
what a great song brings back memories of when i met the love of my life and now have two lovly kids we never got round to getting married but theres time yet
Run Scott RUN!!!! The original track is 1987 and the marriage clip is 1989. Still this does bring back alot memories and it was a big TV Night Highlight?!! I was 11 when I saw this, a simpler and maybe a more happier time in this country. You'll probably never ever TV moments like this again that have this kind of impact!! I presume that this scene was filmed in a real church and I wonder what church it even was?!! Quintessential 80's this is and cheers for the upload.
This was broadcast in Australia on 1 July 1987. It was broadcast in the UK on 8 November 1988- which is why Stock, Aitken & Waterman released Especially For You and Angry Anderson released Suddenly at Christmas 1988 to maximise sales.
Australians are all originally from England and left the cold England and settled in Australia for centuries most of the cast from neighbours and home and away come from the uk some of the cast were born in the uk.
Hi! I would appreciate it if someone could post a video of the first meeting with Mike and Jane and when it was their first kiss. and when they went to the school dance. I would also like to see the episode when Charlene and Steve had kissed each other and Scott came home and found out and that Scott and Charlene became a couple again at their party for all the neighbors Scott and Charlene danced. Scott, Mike, Henry, Desmond (Des) played. Did Lucie fall down a hole in a well? but Scott saved her. I know there were a lot of videos, but I have nothing left of that video and can't watch it anymore. If anyone has it, please put it up, I can subscribe to that person just so I can see the video again
@@FreshlySqueezed77 Thanks so much for the info. But it's not some episodes from like 1986 Episodes like 350 when Scott, Charlene, Mike, Jane when they were in school. What you're referring to is mostly from like Episodes 700 and up to today Scott, Charlene, Mike and Jane don't go to school then. But thanks anyway
@@annikathornvall7431 Hi there, no I was referring to all the early episodes from 1985 up until early 90s.. I rewatched all these eps during lockdown 2020 on dailymotion channel NeighboursUKFansForever- right up until Scott, charlene jane mike left the programme..unless they've removed some of them ? but there was alot here & you could follow in order by referring to neighbours-soap-opera.fandom.com if you need to reference which episode was next..hope this helps!
