I remember it as a time when I was left alone and could get scripts by phone consults. I had heaps of time off and the government gave me money. Fun times. Also the Cinema Snob videos were really good during the pandemic. Some of his funniest work and the output was huge.
And you can watch the review it came from on the channel, probably, Fun In Balloonland, which is...really weird as I recall, though I forget if I have it on my main HD of "Channel Awesome" producers in the Cinema Snob folder, might have to trim again anyway
I read about this for the first time in the news this morning, and not only is there an exploitation movie based on it by lunchtime, but Snob has done a review video of it by afternoon tea.
Funny you show a clip from Manos, since I was just thinking how much I miss the days when even terrible movies still had to have some EFFORT put in to make them!
So it’s not just that Bird Flu movie that was exploitative; now we have a movie based on a thing that even most entomologists are saying was blown out of proportion. The only thing that can bring the false hysteria thing full circle is if Brad reviewed an anti-vax documentary (preferably not Plandemic since it‘ll get deleted from RU-vid like that )
I was hired by a producer to write a Murder Hornet flick a month ago. I was embarrassed cause I wrote it in 3 days. Then I saw this and felt pretty damn good about myself and my abilities, Then again my Murder Hornet project is more like Halloween 3 than the Swarm
I like how they said American Honey Bee, when Honey Bees are most certainly not native to America and were brought over by Europeans. Edited to fix a typo
Malvolia is actually a real RU-vidr: ru-vid.com/show-UCFMTpWeO3dUXQc1qR-GlSww Not sure why she's in this, though. Or even if she actually knows about it.
@@Kartissa Is she supposed to be ripping off/parodying/inspired by Elvira? Because that's the gist I get. Not a terrible thing, though Elvira apparently voiced herself in a Scooby Doo movie last year, which surprises me
@@Kartissa Her real name is Jennifer Nangle and if you look at her IMDB page, she's been in a lot of low-budget horror flicks. The pale, campy goth chick shtick has been a thing since Vampira so I don't think Maven has any real claim to it. Her RU-vid series is hit and miss but I think it deserves more attention than it gets and I like that there are still people carrying on the horror host tradition.
when tornado season starts you can combine the 3 with tsunambee... the movie that despite its name is about a tornado of zombie bees [the bees are also actually hornets]
yooo they made that title card on cooltext.com! I know this because I used the same graphic/font/color combo for the title screen of one of my games! Also, thanks Snob for hiding in the closet for three months. This year has been great for the series, I feel.
Let me get this straight: All you need to be able to do, to be in this guy's movie and get an imdb credit, is film yourself doing whatever you want, as long as the average putz would do it, and if anything happens in your segment, you will instantly be the best part of the movie? *fills out resume*
"The 'Birdemic' of killer insect movies! Five stolen DVDs out of five!" - Brad's former landlord (who got hooked on B movies after going through his loot) "At least it's better than 'Bee Movie'..." - the one guy who saw 'Bee Movie'
I wanna know how they pitched this to the businesses who have commercials in it! "Give us $500 and we will run ads for your law firm 5 times in the movie, it's gonna be awesome its a movie about...I mean...it's a documentary on the dangers the country is facing right now and how people are coming together to help each other! A heartwarming story and I know your name will become synonymous with being a caring and legitimate law firm!"
I think that the next episode should have you and the murder hornet chilling out, and social distancing in the closet, getting drunk, reviewing a movie together.
Ooo Moon of the Bloodbeast you say? I'll have to sit and watch that with a bowl of Longbone stew, made with corn, chicken, green peppers, chili, **sigh** onions...
7:16 Hmm Govt workers list their personal cell phone numbers for the public to call? Also, this movie was so terrible it was hard to even get through this video and The Snob can usually turn any poop to gold.
There is a film out there known as Billy the kid versus the vampires, or Billy the kid meets the vampires. I have not seen it, but from what I’ve read it it’s a shot on video movie, that doesn’t edit out the outtakes. Literally the movie is nothing more than the unedited dailies put onto a VHS and released! Here’s the poster art www.pinterest.com/pin/401383385514780396/
