my senior drill at Leonard Wood was a SF guy. he was the angriest guy i have ever met in my entire life. The highest compliment i have ever received is when he told me he would be honored to have me serve in his unit. i can't think of any award i have ever received that tops that.

I remember one of my good friend in the navy that when I met him he was the textbook definition of a homophobe, and his thought process came from his religion I quickly realized even though I didn't agree with him he was not being malicious and did not hate them, but he didn't know that gay men wouldn't just grope him or harass him. Over the years I knew him I saw his walls breakdown and he became more open to different ideologies and while he was still very much into his religion he started talking to more and more people and became more accepting and realized these people where not bad and what he thought was not true, the military's has its faults but it would be wrong if I didn't say it does give people a chance to evolve and be better people over all and truly breakdown barriers I still talk to that guy and I am proud to call him a brother and a friend. Thanks for the great content guys!

We were splashing off an LST Back in 1984(Marine Amphibious Assault Vehicle) Back end full of Reservist Grunts for RefTra. Before we splashed from the Beach that morning I grabbed 3 C-Rats for me and my crew. I specifically picked Ham and Mothers!!! Load up the Grunts splash the beach and head for the ship, after we got on board and disembarked the Grunts it was Noon Chow the Sailors let us go first to clear out breakfast leftovers! Hours old green eggs and ham! By the time we loaded Grunts back on me and my crewmen were getting serious Bubbling guts! Splashed off the ramp (all hatches closed till you hit the beach). 45 minutes before we hit the beach had these guys sealed inside the big aluminum bobber and we cut loose with anNBC grade gas attack! We had grunts blowing chow all over the back end (20 Grunts) I drove so I could fart in the LTs face the whole way! My Plt Leader came up to me afterwards and asked why I was buttoned up all the way in, then he looked in the back of my Track, puke, Grunts on the sand still puking! Walked off laughing and told me to get the grunts cleaning!

I find happiness when Amgry and Evan or Matt gang up against JT. But JT knows how to return fire and its gold.

That quiet “it’s my hole” from Evan at the end made me laugh so fucking hard lol

37:00 One of My drill sergeants did "making pizza" all in formation and imaginary scenarios btw We started running in place(to the "kitchen") Then we sat in a squat putting the ingredients on the pizza. Then we had to run with the pizza occasionally jumping over mysterious holes that we had to jump over. Finally got to the oven get into a squat, open the oven, put the pizza in the oven, close the oven, then back to running in place and jumping over obstacles. Eventually we needed to get the pizza out. But it was not only tiring but you felt like an idiot running in place pretending that you were making a pizza.
