As much as I love AmaLee's voice for Jingliu, but I think the anger and the lack of the evil laughter during her attack is kind of a let down but no hard feelings, I still love her.
The ENG director for this time decided to just hold back so much for no reasons and I don’t know why! Guess AmaLee best performance in voicing Jingliu will always be in that Jing Yuan animation.
ENG March just sounds more irritating the more I keep listen to her talking tbh, I guess my HSR account will only have CN voices for such a long time lol.
The reason why the eng voice doesn't sound like a maniac is because the jpn, cn, and krn va are doing the murder too profesionally meanwhile the eng one has scuff all around BECAUSE THE ENG VA AMALEE ARE MORE WELL KNOWN AS THE SCUFFQUEEN!!!!
Tbh i dont like evil crazy laughter for jinglui. Her entire existence after the death of baibeng and het betrayal by imbibitor and blade has left her with anger and vengeance. The sheer rage amalee gave her i think is a much more fitting and interesting take on the character. The evil laugh i think waters down the point of her madness being her anger . The laugh gives crazy yes. But it doesnt give anger
Jingliu's En VA sounds like she has phlegm stuck in his throat. She didn't EVEN understand jingliu's character setting she's a crazy person and why did she delete the laughter in other language versions? This will go down as the worst case of using a Vtuber in game dubbing.
@@alunsinus_prime ah i see. On second thought, I think I was too critical of the VA.... In the end, this wasnt just a problem for the VA, but it was a problem from the casting stage..
@@mumu12mu also, tbf to AmaLee, if you look at the EN history, the directors have a clear problem by making characters frustrated, angry, shout, when they don't need to/different from other languages. This is a lot more clearer with Kafka in the main story interrogation, where she proceeds to get annoyed with the MC
