I find it weird the main antagonist himself can't end your game and is just a stun enemy while the guards can end the game. I mean I know he's meant to be a lazy scumbag of a king. But every game up to this entry. The main enemy the game is named after is always the main threat.
@@mishami5307mechanically speaking, King Richard functions as a secondary Enemy (similar to the Mini Rods in Ice Scream 4, Terry from Mr Meat) they cannot end your run and simply act as annoyances. I assume the reason they didn't make King Richard able to end your game is because you're already having to deal with Guards. Plus the angry Meter makes him send more guards to you. As we see Richard helps the Guards. If you get caught, you're stunned and need to tap alot more to break free, giving the Guards time to get to you. This might explain why he is the slowest enemy in the keplarians games. It's a terrible combo to get cornered by Guards that are fast, and Richard who is slow and can have the element of surprise.
