@@nodevoutt Exactly, and it's also not very strange that someone gets a bit annoyed, the officer picks up a photo and asks "what is that?, Who is that?" and a bunch of other questions. Since when do they have to know every little personal detail? What does a random framed photo has to do with smuggling? So why did he even ask anything about that? Also the fact that in almost like EVERY episode they find it "frustrating" that they didn't find drugs/other illegal items on a innocent person. If I did that kind of work I would be happy that anyone that I "investigate" comes up clean and didn't decide to ruin his life trying to smuggle illegal things. Happy that I've not had any encounters like these when out travelling...

Actually thinking about this, the UK officers are really nice, I'm sure the US officers started the same way wanting to do their job but over time enough was enough. Us officer are know to be extremely assertive, so no one trys to act this way towards them. Being nice will let passengers have the opportunity to act this way.

If anyone is suspicious, the bags are swabbed, then ex rayed. If the ex Ray or swab show ANYTHING they cut into the bag. .

I don't think half the trouble they put people through is their job. A lot of that just looks like harassment, profiling, and plain old abuse of power.

I Do think it would be quite helpful for attitudes if they apologized for the delay BUT I also think they Must be allowed to do their job w/out the disparaging/rude remarks of the passengers (who could also apologize)……..

They literally found high amount of drug traces in his bag. Not enough to prosecute but no need to apologize knowing that he also changes his stories & his suspicious travel itinerary. I guess the guy is either a diversion or a mule guide. Tailing him would give the results they were looking for.

They are doing a very important job, remember 9-11 and bombs in shoes , baggage, etc. People carry knives and prohibited items items in baggage and on themselves all the time because they can't read on the ticket what is forbidden. No need to apologize at all.

they swipe my hands a few times mostly in the states and i never took it personal i tought it was just the procedure for everybody. they alsso search my bags when i camee back from trips by myself and got asked questions but i think in these videos its the blacck people that gets mad or take it personal they feel they got pick out of all the whitee people

I buy luggage from Goodwill. If it's decent it just going to be beat to hell anyways. I'd hate to have mine stabbed and it go off. Idk where the bags came from before.

'So you know what's in them, then?' As though the two were equivalent propositions, when they're very definitely not. Because you haven't been in possession of your bags for hours, during which time total strangers have handled them. It's literally impossible for you to 'know what's in them'. But if you carelessly allow them to slip that by you, and then they find something, even if you knew nothing about it, you're on record as claiming knowledge of what's in you bags. And 'anything you say can be used against you.' Good luck trying to 'take it back' It's underhanded, and very deliberately so, and they shouldn't even be allowed to do it. When I was young and traveled alone a lot, I always got pulled over for a "random" search. Now that I'm older, I never do.

Carton of cigarettes and a bottle of fine Kentucky bourbon always works for my brother. At least I know he will actually use that instead of another sweater he will give to Goodwill.

And when these drugs get to your kids and the become addicted or die from it, you'll blame these officers for not doing their job.

The country of England doesn't "save" money by catching smugglers, if they stop you and you're over the limit the only way you can keep the tobacco is to pay the customs usually thousands of pounds, so if anything they make money not save money as you put it, additionally because it's a social democracy they have national health care, that's why cigs in england/uk are so expensive to begin with, it funds the NHS, dude your reasoning makes zero sense, don't think you really have a grasp or understanding of how it all works, connects and why.....

I think I remember from a different episode of this series that the seized tobacco and cigarettes are destroyed. What a waste! Why not sell the stuff legally and make some more money for the customs service?

Same here, 50 times at least and stopped only once - it was the time I wrapped my bag with type for safety. Another time stopped for maybe 2-3mins when boarding. In fact, I have never seen anyone to be stopped.

Wow! That's kind of annoying to never get stopped in 150 flights. Think of all the drugs you could have gotten away with!
