The 1st rodeo clown was in the early 1900s, named Flint Rasmussen. He grew up around it and loved being a showman. They are the US Bullfighters, basically. Around 1920, the Rodeo began using the Brahma bull due to its size and intimidating appearance, making the sport much more intense and more dangerous for the cowboys. Clowns were needed to help distract the bull to keep injured riders safe while they got out of the arena. What they do has changed a few times over the generations but the job is largely the same. Protect the rider, and don't take a direct hit to the body.

I, too, was wondering where all the hate is. Then I searched on Twitter. Yep, it's there! I also found a few YT creators who like to hate on Tom.

When you go down the rabbit hole with him, you find the bodies that he buried along the way at the same Stratus that the song is found at. The problem with finding the channels he was talking about is that shortly after the Mac Lethal diss and even slightly before that, many of the channels change their tune. There’s only a few that keep it up. I found some of them using the search “Tom MacDonald diss” about the time when this was originally released, there were a few channels… Quite a few more than now that were critical.
