Hi! My name is Lola, and this is my reaction to Angry Video Game Nerd (AVGN) - Game Boy Accessories by Cinemassacre @ / angrynintendonerd original video - • Game Boy Accessories -...
He’s not lying. The sewing machine with the GameBoy colour does exist. You can use it to sew sweaters with this thing and people actually used it and made a sweater with it. Check it out it does exist. The shoes and the pocket sonar is real. He’s not making things up.
I. F**KING. WISH. HE WAS KIDDING. The sewing machine, the Pocket Sonar, EVERYTHING was legit. Fun fact: That mobile phone adapter for the GBC is called the Pokémon Mobile System GB. It was used to allow access to an event in Japan, to obtain a Celebi in Pokémon Crystal. That said, it required you to pay for the Celebi....yeah. Possibly the earliest form of Pokémon DLC I have ever seen, OVER 20 YEARS BEFORE SWORD & SHEILD'S EXPANSION. Also, THIS ALL HAPPENED WHEN I WAS A TODDLER!!?? I feel old....😰
I actually got a GameBoy Color, the Interact PulsePak Color; A speaker with vibration sensor & headphone jack, the Interact HandyPak Color; An all-in-one device like the GameBoy Color equivalent of the JoyPlus HandyBoy, & the Pelican Survival Kit; I didn't know how to do it so I accidentally snapped part of the connector that holds the Power adapter more firmly together. So, now I've got; The GameBoy Color The Interact PulsePak Color The button & Light/Magnifier add-ons from the Pelican Survival Kit All I need is the WorkBoy, the GameBoy FM Radio - *_If that's real_* - and maybe something to prop it upright
I still remember seeing the commercial for the Game Boy Camera and the printer where you could print out the pictures, at the time it was really revolutionary! Memories!
I actually have the Handyboy by STD but for the Gameboy Color. It still works! Also, the GBC version also uses a pair of AAA batteries to run the light.
I like seeing how third-party companies made the light add-ons to the Game Boy, while in 1995 or 1996, I guess, Nintendo released the Game Boy Light, but unfortunately, only in Japan. It was a variant of the already existing Game Boy Pocket, with a black and white screen instead of green, about 30-40% smaller, used only 2 AA batteries, and in the case of the Light variant, had a blue light inside the screen that could be turned on or off.
Not gonna lie: The Booster looked really cool. I kinda wished we had something like it for DS Lite. But I _guess_ I can make do with the new portable Dock Screen "Orion" for Nintendo Switch... oh, you bet your Specs that's a real thing!
14:12 about the printer, there's some games that utilize it. the one I know of (called Link's Awakening DX) has a photographer that pops up during certain parts of your journey to take a photo of you. said photos can be printed
That Gameboy didn’t just survive ANY bomb blast but a NUCLEAR one. In fact that same GB is on display in the Nintendo World Store in NY. Seriously we need to make armor out of the GB material.😂😂😂😂 Also fun fact one of Neil Youngs album covers was made with the Game Boy Camera. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver_%26_Gold_(Neil_Young_album)
Yeah I had a "game dude" back in the day. I also had a "limited edition" ice blue mini Game Boy and a game gear that was as good for like a year as a half. Still have those in my parents garage somewhere. Chershed nostalgia possessions for real, takes me back to a time when people had a lot of money to spend on uselss novelty items. And a few of those crappy tiger games and after that I was done with portable games. I don't remember hearing about some of these add-ons though....great reaction Lolz. 😊
Yeah the GameBoy had quite a history. I didn’t knew half the accessories it has gotten. And everything he mentioned at the end was no joke exaggeration. :p It’s mind blowing how ridiculous and yet legit it all is. 😅
I had a game boy and I was unfortunate enough to own that Handy Boy accessory....Buuuuuuuuuuuuut I also had the external battery thing, the carrying case, the Super Game Boy, and the Game Boy Camera
@@lolasroom7171 Don't know i still remember when the Gameboy was still pretty new and they made a sewing machine for it that really blew my mind and i have seen it before, never used it but i have seen it on store shelves during my younger days.
its so stupid how the old ones didnt have light on the screen i had the gameboy adavance and i had to use add ons for light i still have my gameboy advance SP the best one they ever made i just emulate stuff mostly now cos its to much work getting all the things out lol omg some of them add ons are ridiculous
