They are an absolute talent there is nothing better then seeing brother and sister performing together and the trumpet is something special in this song. They are just so believable in there music and the more you listen the better you feel
My My.... I've listened to this 3 times to listen to all components of this piece, because of it's originality. Nice groove. I think things like these are timeless. I'm curious about a recorded and mixed version of this track. MAJOR I think this was my only comment on youtube ever!
I first heard this song in a Janice Long session some years before, in a much less developed version and that was enough to send me scouring the record shops (knowing neither title nor band) until finally after about a dozen attempts at singing it an assistant sold me a little gatefold double EP CD and that was it, hooked. I found this version quite by accident yesterday when I was searching RU-vid on my phone for the original version to play to a friend. This is great. It's quite restored my faith in the future of music: singing live, playing live on multiple instruments, having fun doing it . . . Perfect! In fact I think I'll just listen to it again.
And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.
@rombit123 I just wanna say... Mythics bands like beatles or stones are just unique. But I think we have to recognize the best artists of the 21th century. So, Angus & Julia Stone are part of them ! That was my avice ^^

but I was thinking, "oh man, I hope that's her playing the trumpet." You know, some groups hear a sound in there head and think, hey we need trumpet, and its extraneous. But that's their thing. That's pretty cool.
