I'm pretty sure the reason Tom has improved so much probably comes down to the fact this group proably rehearses in person (something Gloryhammer failed to do) and I've heard Seeb is a bit of a perfectionist it also helps that there isn't 2 competing egos with Bowes and Winkler.
I'm really impressed with how great Tom sounds, you go and watch his last show with Gloryhammer and now it's night and day. I guess when it's your band and you get to sing and create what you want you put more effort into it.
Also, a friend of mine who was writing him said, with the last Gloryhammer show he had a lot of in-ear issues. There was no sound on Tom‘s monitors for the first three songs (whether this was intentionally done by his ex band or not is hard to say but wouldn‘t surprise me so they have a reason to kick him out).
@@albundy8882 either that or couldn‘t hear himself (or both). They had a mixing engineer side stage and Tom asked him 3 times to turn the volume of his monitors up.
I’ve seen you in pretty much all of Angus’ lives, fighting against people who think he lip syncs. I hope that they finally understand he sings live with these amazing videos!
@@paulcauchon9515tbh this allegation was coming from Chris Bowes (who is known to be a creative inventor of fairy tales and was obviously an act of jealousy 😂) and got picked up by a handful of his parrots.
This video is probably the most compelling evidence I've seen so far that he's *not* lip syncing most of the time. There are a couple times where his voice fades for a split second when he accidentally swings the microphone farther away from his mouth. He has a couple of minor breath control issues throughout the song. The volume of his voice changes with the amount of visible effort he physically puts into the beginning of a hard belt.
I'd tend to agree. And I'm not really a fan of Tom but I'll give credit where it's due. This is what I wanted to see him do three years ago. Lessons, practice, taking care of his voice.
