I'm from United States Central Florida. I love watching your videos. You are the best of the best. Very informative . Very professional. You have a brilliant way of teaching and explaining. Therefore we all agree on you getting an upgraded tank.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉. It's for personal satisfaction and science. you deserve it. Thank you for all your hard work and your effort in producing these videos.
Thank you Tee ❤️ It’s actually gone through a fair bit since this one was actually filmed, can’t wait to do an upgrade, hopefully 2024 is a goer 🙌 Ania
Your so awsome. Its always a pleasure watching your videos. Have not seen you on in a while but good to see you back. Keep up the good work and enjoying the hobby!
Thank you so much for the encouraging words Randy. I don’t get the opportunity to film very often and I get super nervous but I’m gonna try do more of it in 2024! This one was actually filmed a few months ago so to be honest the tank is probably due for another video soon …. Stay tuned for….. Super simple softie setup: The upgrade! 🤞 🤣 Ania
Come on Cam! Hook up a tank system you sell in the shop as a build series, bit of product placement with help from your suppliers. Great content series right there. PS dont forget about the mothership either....... we are all waiting
Awesome tank. I've been doing SPS for years, but recently set up a smaller softie tank and absolutely love it. It's nice having a lower maintenance setup, especially as an additional tank.
Your the reason why I love softies mate well done on such a great tank. I’ll be getting in context with you in the new year as I’m re setting up my waterbox 20 soon :)
Great video Ania, I love soft corals, very beautiful and relaxing looking little tank, I've found it's easier to get what you want and apologise for it latter for the upgrade, but I didn't say that sorry Cameron 🤐
@@GalleryAquaticaTV Merry Christmas to you both to, I'll have to come down and see you in the new year as I have this exact size tank for the studio I'm building, it will be all biotope tanks but where would an Aussie studio be without at least on little coral setup, it would be Un-Australian 🤠❤🐠🎄
I don’t think they eat mine either! The Rabbitfish did a great job at it but I think he has grown too large now, I need to swap for a baby again.. or …. Upgrade 😁
Thanks! Ohh I’d love to visit Florida one day, that would be a dream come true!Home of my favourite reefing idol, Julian Sprung. And I hear there are iguanas, super cool! Thanks for watching! Ania
Can't believe how many snails you have in there. My current tank is the waterbox 70.2 which I think is a little bigger? and I'd be lucky to have 10-12. Probably explains my algae Hahaha! Hope you guys get the upgrade soon so you can expand on what you love !
This video was actually filmed a few months ago so hopefully the upgrade is coming sooner than expected! 🤞🤞The other night we counted 50 snails on just the glass so they are definitely multiplying! 😝 Even with the window behind it, I feed three times per day, and very little water changes… have no algae ever! I do think the Waterbox is bigger! Do you have any fish that eat algae in there? If I didn’t have the bicolour Blenny I would be going for a dwarf Salarius lawnmower Blenny. Happy Reefing! Ania
@GalleryAquaticaTV ooo exciting times ! I've got a foxface rabbitfish which eats a little but I don't think many others do. Maybe the blue tang slightly here and there. They're all looking forward to their upgrade to a new cade 1800 in the coming weeks!!
Hi. When you say dwarf Salarius lawnmower blenny, do you mean a small specimen of Salarias fasciatus, or is there a smaller species you are refering to? Best regards @@GalleryAquaticaTV
Id be interested to hear how to manage a softie tank in a nano when the corals start getting too big? Would you frag them and start again or? Id be too scared to frag myself I’d need someone to do it for me haha
Thanks! The Iodine is the Coral Essentials brand, it’s 1 drop per 100L per day, but I use extra because I have so many softies. 🤞🤞 there is an upgrade on the horizon! Ania
Thank you, I totally agree! Oh love that little Heraldi. He was a model citizen with the corals! I didn’t really cover or talk about the fish I had acquired in the previous video, just wanted to highlight the newbies ;) We actually filmed this video a little while ago on the same day as the Nyos Fish Trap Reef Test Video, but that one was released first.. and probably hints at what fish are currently missing in reality ☺️😇 Ania
To play devils advocate...you will always want more space, you will always want upgrade. This is a lovely tank, a great size, and it's working well. I'd like to see how you manage the tank and the coral growth on this smaller scale rather than upgrading, as that option isn't available to everyone and so seeing how to manage and maintain this size tank long term would be more interesting and educational. Could you swap out some of the larger coral, frag them, or let some tank over and become massive. I don't really like the "upgrade" mindset that's prevalent in the hobby, and would like to see more people making what they have work over longer timescales.
Come on, Cam..Ania works her butt off every day to make the business work and gives so much love to others .she definitely deserves the upgrade she wants...and to have some of that love sent back to her mate...pritty pritty please with a cherry on top cam. 🍒 🙏 🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏🍒🙏
My tank just crashed last week and i lost everything. Even the hardy mushrooms melted away. Im thinking of just adding softies and making it a softy dominant tank now. Losing all the lps i was growing is so depressing.
Clean up crew is so expensive these days - around $7 for just turbo snails and about $12 for trochus snails.. so would cost around half a grand just for snails! Any tips??
Hmm. Some of these snails are $10 rrp but there are bulk buy specials out there. Shop around! Our Aquacultured Turbo snails are $2 ea or 6 for $10 in-store. I still think cheaper and worth the $ verus algae eating fish, especially for such a small setup. Abalone are huge , Urchins too! Both eat/clean a lot and pack a punch! Ania
