Greatest story ever told! It made me jump out my seat when the bird leapt into the air (with majestic gracefulness I must say). Using a fantastic post-structuralist form in the style of many of the Russian classics, I felt it lent itself to the character development of a Tolstoy epic yet with the narrative nuances of Dostoyevski's inner monologue - it's almost as if it were provided by Rodion Romanaovich himself! Could be more accomplished without the Nietzsche references. I liked the cover.
