@@Alix777. wait, say more- has he talked about having issues with weed/depression? He certainly comes off as depressed a lot of the time, though he did seem more content behind the kit again when I saw them live a few nights ago.

Really poignant words from Noah about his motivation for continuing to make music, that sense of keeping things moving, of living. When your art becomes your career, it's impossible not to become disillusioned to your earlier ideas of "success." There's too many ups and downs. It's so hard to maintain the original special thing which brought you joy, which was the basis of everything. It was nice to hear from someone who seems to have figured that out. Making art is something we do because we're still alive.

Fantastic interview! Incredibly refreshing to hear so many great insights into the band/process from such a mystical, yet on point, Panda Bear. The thing about songs being alive was beautiful and I totally agree. I've always wondered if there was a "perfect" version of a song, like from Plato's World of Forms.. but songs are forever coverable/remixable/explorable and infinitely interpretable 👌
