I listen to this song really often. You could say it's a... habit of mine.

Even without the fact that this song will be forever linked with a horror webseries about monsters and an ancient evil being that possesses people and uses their bodies to commit unspeakable atrocities, it's still creepy and weird on its own merits. To be honest, it's almost entirely because of the music video. This is what happens when some dude drops acid, has a really bad trip, then hires a team of people to recreate what he saw.

I'll always be grateful to EMH for introducing me to this fantastically twisted band.

Y’all. My dad has been obsessed with Animal Collective for many, MANY years. These songs fueled my childhood (specifically Peacebone). The second I heard this song on EMH I knew I was gonna love the series. And so I did.

I don't know why but I have a HABIT of watching this song

Sung Tongs is one of the best albums they have put out. I'll admit one has to be in a bit of a mood to sit through "Visiting Friends", but every other song on the album is a joy to listen to at any time. It's so stripped down in terms of instrumentation, and yet it feels so full - it really is a marvel.

The only two comprehensible lines are "sometimes I can't find my good habits" and "rabbit or habit, habit or rib"

I wonder what Animal Collective thinks of EMH?

I've always loved this song. I think it's the most approachable Animal Collective song; it's usually what I'll send people if they've never heard the band. But it's just as great as all their other stuff. The video's great, too. I love at :32 when the rabbit is screaming, the way the background of the sky turns around him. Pretty cool shot. Even though it's creepy, just like the rest of the video.

That was the most twisted endings I've seen in any music video. That being said Sung Tongs is the best album from animal collective and this is one of my favorite tracks off of it.

Here's a theory: I'm sure you know who thegreenfeathers is, right? He's another character in everymanhybrid with another channel. He made a video titled "Evan is a turtle for roughly 30 seconds". In this video, the turtle seems to be nice at first and then turns evil and kills his friend. The same thing happens to Evan when HABIT posesses him and kills Jeff. A connection of some sort?
