As a follow-up to my previous comment, I'd like to add the following (possible spoilers ahead): I pre-purchased the game and have not been disappointed, especially with the pre-order bonus outfits (my favorites being the Cherry Blossom Dress and Crown). The game sometimes limits how much you can do in a day. I don't usually time travel, so I have no problem with waiting to accomplish some tasks. It's refreshing to have limits to what you can do in a day, that way you don't feel guilty or like you're missing something if you don't keep playing for hours. I love the pastel shades of the world/island. The softness just adds to the cozy and comfortable feeling of the game. The avatar's large, anime-like eyes add to it's cuteness. Some have said that the music is repetitive, but when I'm focused on a task, it doesn't really bother me. In fact, there are times when the tune changes over to the main theme and I suddenly realize that I had been listening to something different. I guess that means that it does fade into the background after a while, which is where it should be. One thing I noticed just this morning, though, is that I was playing the main theme in my head during my commute to work this morning. This game may not be for everyone, but it fits nicely into my own personal niche of casual and cute gameplay. The goal of reinvigorating the island and helping the inhabitants restore their memories makes this game different enough from Animal Crossing to deserve a ranking of its own. But, that's just me ;-)
