I actually cried at 42:41. I didn’t know about this feature (sitting on the twin tree gives a history of your town and plays this song) until my last few years of playing New Leaf. Looking back like that is just... well, it made me cry.

I have never played New Leaf. The last game I've played was City Folk. So hearing its soundtrack blows me away with how different it sounds, from the instruments to the compositions. It sounds so good! :O Can't wait to play New Horizons

damn, i've been playing animal crossing for big chunk of my life (9 years) and animal crossing music can always get me feeling happy/sad in a nostalgic way. listening to its music is the only way for me to remember when i was younger and i would be playing new leaf on my living room couch and getting coffee from brewsters, or visiting the city in city folk, or just fishing down the river in wild world

This makes me emotional, because I've played every single Animal Crossing game since Wild World, I've had a Nintendo DS lite since I was 5 years old, so I grew up with Animal Crossing. The compilation just reminds me of how I played Animal Crossing on long car rides, at boring family gatherings, in the morning when my family wasn't up yet...anywhere I had some hours to spend. Thank you so much for this beautiful masterpiece! :)

I've played a lot of animal crossing, and hearing a spring mix is so amazing. I love how it all makes you feel as if you're feeling a spring breeze on your back, and the trees are green, and the world around you is blooming all over again.

I don’t see that many comments about New Leaf but that’s the game I grew up with and I didn’t realize how much I loved that game it really helped me out and just listening to the music makes me smile. Im sitting here as my parents are screaming because im a terrible daughter. I have sensory issues that get me irritable, i get so scared and frustrated. I could feel my makeup and rushed into the bathroom to fix it while my sister was brushing her teeth. My sister yelled at me and kept asking questions when i told her to please be quiet. My sister went downstairs and complained and i explained i wasnt feeling well and had to fix it. All i got were screams. Im really scared. I need out. Im gonna have a heart attack, suffocate or commit suicide so soon. I cant stand it because im trying to stop being so awful and being such a bad daughter because i go to therapy. They know im trying but they dont care. I made sure to fix the sensory issue immediately, like my therapist says before it gets worse. I just try to do the best i can but all i get back is that im an awful kid and they shouldve never had me. Now, here i am, cuddling my pillow, listening to animal crossing music to calm the fuck down. Im so scared. I cant stand this family anymore. I wish cps could come because im so scared. Plus, i have fucking pstd because i was hate crimed and i have borderline peraonality disorder and general anxiety disorder and major deppresive disorder and it all build up until i become this terrified person who wants to hide in bed and cry because the world is a constant threat. I wanna go home because im not home even if im at my house. I dont have a home. Home isnt supposed to scare you.

these are the best soundtracks, maybe unpopular opinion but new horizons sound track does NOT hit like these, city folk city music will always have a special place in my heart, these soundtracks made u feel great running around doing tasks so relaxing and good vibes, i honestly don't like any of the new horizon sounds or music in the background

Jaco Coco While the tune is reminiscent of Wild World, the actual track is from Animal Crossing the Movie as I noted in the tracklist. The real Wild World track sounds slightly different and less orchestrated.
