Besides catching her randomly in the Roost before 7pm Group stretching is a better way to check whether Celeste visits your island or not....if you start a stretching session after 7pm Celeste will also join it on the days when she visits your island 🙂

@@CrossingChannel It still takes time....last time she visited my island I haven't found her untill after 9pm....I think the weather is still heavily affecting her spawn time because I had cloudy/windy weather on my island that night but it cleared up a little bit around 9pm (on other nights I found her easily around 7:30pm at least)

@@LadybirdG I made a really dense forest on my island and hid all 10 of my villagers houses in there. I really like how it's turning out so far but it's a nightmare trying to find anything else in there. Lol

I love the attention to detail with the group stretching, like the villagers looking at each other confused or running behind, or that fewer villagers show up to the group stretching if you do it late at night

Don’t know if anyone else caught this but, there is a tiny interesting thing that I found. The price of the 2022 celebratory arch is 2,022 bells to match the year.

I havent seen it mentioned by anyone, but they lowered the price to move a villagers house from 50k to 10k. I found this out after I had moved most of my town in preparation for flattening before 2.0

Another detail for you Ben: one day I found Piper on the Beach at HHP so I made her a resort home and I placed her as the boutique manager at HHP ( I’ve wanted Piper on my island forever but never found her on any of my villager hunts) however I did a villager hunt last week and finally found Piper and invited her to move in; on the day she was unpacking on my island, I went to the boutique shop at HHP and she was replaced by another villager due to her busy unpacking at my island . Bob’s Gang!

personally i like combining gyroids with the fancy bathroom vanity so it looks like they’re sitting on the counter by the sink. if you use a tall skinny one it kinda looks like a soap dispenser lol

I don’t know how rare this is but once when Goldie came to my house she gave me her photo when she left! Might be another good way to try to get then. Always accept invites to your house from your villagers!!! Also related to the hhp I saw Daisy and Goldie in the ocean together. It was so cute!

Don't forget that after you design a home for them, if you speak with them after they'll gift you an item you used to decorate their house (an item you don't currently have, if possible). I assume that's why you unlock the villager's photo when you take them as a client. I've been going back and putting their photos in their vacation homes in the hopes that I'll get it as a gift. Hasn't worked yet, but I haven't played in a while, so I still have my fingers crossed haha.

I have tias and stitches. Stitches gave me his after I left his house and tia sent me hers in the mail there’s new interaction do help a lot. Anytime they ask if I come over or they can come over I just do it cause it only takes a couple of seconds. I think playing games helps too. Only thing I don’t like is I think they ask for more of your pocket items now and it be stuff I really need

It's not so much a secret, but one thing I noticed by accident was that you can put miscellaneous items in the 'Science Pod' (so they look like they're floating inside)!

Villagers only seem gift you a K.K. Slider song the first time they invite you over. Everytime after that, they gift you a random item (which can be their photo). They also won't let you leave until you've played a round "High Card, Low Card" with them

Something new to me I’ve experienced the last two days is in The Roost. While I’m sitting on the barstool right after I finished my coffee Capp’n came in for a to-go coffee. And the next day Timmy came in for a to-go cup. It was so cute.

I really wish they would've let us make their room bigger. It's hard not to be repetitive when decorating their houses because they're so small.

One detail I’ve noticed is during stretching, Isabelle, Tom Nook and Timmy & Tommy never mess up - they always have perfect timing and are never late with their movements 😂

if you sit on the ruined seat in the DLC, one gives you a nice view of the beach and the other one zooms in on you.

I find it weird that Nintendo will sometimes do the extra little details you mentioned but then completely drop the ball on the most obvious things they know we want. Why they do this, I really don't understand.

Villagers that visit my home, particularly if I'm outside and they ask to go in my house, I've been gifted their photos! This has happened a few times with different villagers already. Oh and Bob's gang!

When villagers invite you over, there’s a dialogue prompt where they ask if you want to buy anything furniture. They let you take two furniture items from their home for free and the third you pay for

this one is small, but if you have a villager from your island working at an HHP facility they will be asleep at night when they would normally be asleep on your island. It's cute but it's kind of annoying for night owls like me, lol. Thankfully you can switch them out with someone not on your island and everything works fine.

Oh! For the hack with merging items, you can get that uhhh small flat kitchen thing, and put the shelf with the 3 spices and pans on the wall. It looks like the spice in on the kitchen thingy!

Also when visiting Katrina and asking her about your luck, the colour seen in her crystal represent the different fortunes: Blue is for belongings Green is for health Orange/yellow is for money Red is for friendship

The more you stop by for coffee at least once daily, will get you closer to a new reward from Brewster. So far, I got the siphon, but not yet getting to the point where I get the Brewstoid.

Not sure if this is new from 2.0, but when trying to move Coco the other night, Nook told me he couldn't because she was sick. So, I went and gave her medicine, and then asked again, to which the regular dialogue happened. I'd never seen or heard of that before!

I love how they treat Villager as this super special person. When you tried to call him to the campsite in New Leaf, Wisp would tell you that he'd try his best to find him but fails and in turn Wisp himself shows up in an RV where you can buy a golden Villager statue and Nintendo Systems themed furniture instead. A shame that he doesn't unlock anything special in NHl but then again the Amiibo figure is pretty old at this point and not everyone has him.

If you scan in Villager at Harvey's you do actually unlock a poster of his City Folk self! I was so happy when I found that out. Like you said though, it is a shame nothing cool happens when you try to invite him to the Roost.

In addition to not being able to visit a sick villager's vacation home, if you have them working in one of your facilities and you visit when they are sick the facility will substitute another HHP villager as the regular staff member isn't able to come in today.

My hidden highlight was when Mr Resetti showe up in the Roost and talked about his past and present jobs. The dialogue was hilarious, and it was so great to have him back, if only briefly.

I think the fruit a villager gives you when they visit your house is your "sister fruit"; that is, the one fruit you'd find in abundance on a certain mystery island tour. My villagers give me pears, and I've always gotten tours where I'd go to an island chock full of them when my native fruit is cherries.

The sick villagers while “cute & attention to detail” I personally wish they would have them go back to their role in the facility when they got better it was really annoying to have to keep re-adding my islanders back everytime to the point I replaced every villager in every facility with Non-residents. I like many of the other features,

Similar to if your villager is sick at home, you can't go to their vacation home, if they're employed at one of the HHP facilities, you'll get a message upon entering that a villager was unable to come to work and thus was swapped with another character. Pretty harsh to fire a character for being sick one day, HHP!

I think it's a temporary replacement- like when your coworker covers for you when your sick irl That's what I've heard anyway, my villagers are all too healthy rn to verify lol

Same if they are still asleep on your island. and the replacement seen permanant or until you manually change it. My original sous-chef at the restaurant haven't come back yet and is still replaced.

If you try to invite Gulliver via amiibo to the roost while gullivaar is on your island you have a special dialogue.

When villagers visit your home they give you your sister fruit so unfortunately you still need online to get all the fruits

That suck, nintendo need to fix this, maybe with having leif selling fruits trees start, just like the way vegetables works. Or Kappin's Island tour would have random fruit instead of only your native fruit.

One secret I found is a villager who has left your island and is invited to the Roost via an amiibo will remember living on your island. Some of the dialogue refers to them missing living on the island. I found this out by inviting Ozzie back as I missed him and wanted to see how he was doing

Villagers also disappear from facilities when they're sick. Had Cherry working at the restaurant and I entered and all of a sudden Beau's there in a waitress outfit😂 Sorta funny, but he's still there so I guess I need to talk to Lottie to get Cherry back...

You can go to the restaurant or any facility and press left on the D-pad to change employees and customers. You can skip talking to Lottie unless you're also looking to make a little extra poki for "renovations".

You can't visit village's vacation home when they are sleeping. I have Sherb as head chef in the bistro, there were times I tried to get cooking recipe but was sleeping while working. One time I was there about 6am he was awake. I think I have most of gyroids didn't know they can be merged with other furniture something to test out. Bob's gang.

At The Roost, you can't invite Gullivarrr the pirate. Even if you retrieve his phone for him, you can't invite him to The Roost using the Gulliver amiibo and you get some fun, unique dialogue.

In HHP if you visit the hospital on a Monday Joan will be there and gift you 30 Turnips! Also you can speak to the chef in your restaurant for a different recipe every day 😊

I am sorry, villagers can get vacation homes too? (I mean obivously not the player, which really stinks and I wish they had let us do our own too, we could use the stuff in our storage). Do the villagers just randomly pop up? I haven't had any of the ones currently on my island appear up there

If you get souvenir chocolates, you can give them to your villager and they will ask if you can go there now. Hope this helps!

You can put the gyroids in the pink square bathtub. It looks like they are all hanging out in the hot tub. I have 3 sitting in my tub. I don't think they have given me music nor a fruit I don't already have. 😭

Not sure if it's something you know about or not, but I recently discovered that if you drink the take-out coffee from Brewster's cafe, it gives you 3 energy. Like if you were to eat 3 fruits or food items. A cool little extra for buying take-out coffee. BOB'S GANG
