It’s also because papa bears are some of the worst dads in the animal kingdom. They’re very territorial and aren’t above killing cubs that encroach on their turf, even their own. Mama Bears HAVE to be vicious and overprotective so their babies can reach adulthood.

Faze_ Chamakito ...I think you need to look up what torture means. The animals are in safe care with the experts nearby. Sure, the baby bear whined a little, but that’s only because of what it is: a baby. All young animals are bound to whine and fidget, even when their mothers are nearby. Animals aren’t delicate creatures, they aren’t going to be scarred by some mild discomfort.

Faze_ Chamakito except these animals are being raised in the care of the animal experts. They’re familiar with them and trust them. And they’re only on stage for a couple minutes. I’ve been on stage before, and the audience is never too loud. The acoustics of the room make sure that sound tends to go out from the stage, not the other way round. Some of them are probably intrigued by the change of pace. New sights, smells, sounds. But hey, it’s not like these animals can show whether they’re uncomfortable or not. Oh wait! *They can.*

Not only is Conan comfortable with the animals, but he is also very considerate and respectful towards the animals, he already noticed that the cub was very uncomfortable, and he doesn't constantly make aggressive jokes out of them. It's so wholesome to see people treat animals well and kind, and this is why Conan is definitely one of the best comedian not just for his jokes, but for his virtue of love towards anything.

I never watched Conan until I started seeing his skits with jordan schlansky. But yeah, he seems to be a class act. Really like the guy, and so genuine and down to earth in comparison to other talk show hosts. And you can always tell when he's being himself and when he's just messing about.

He is curious about the animal rather being afraid. Most animals can sense your uneasiness and respond. The way he is comfortable with the animals makes them calm. Conan is such a sweetheart.
