a son who is ready to go to any extent to protect his dad who always had neglected him since birth. its a movie but its actually a blessing for any parent.
This movie is creating a lot of rage among critics and feminists. Misogyny sprayed here and there but if you can separate the work ( music, screenplay and fight choreography) from its ideologies and messages then it is a treat to watch. The most polarising Indian film of the year by far.
That is pretty much established in the movie, he is a bad guy. Only redeeming quality he has, is his love for his family ( that too is toxic sometimes). Director establishes that the main lead is almost villainous.
Seperated the problematic part and I still find the movie to be pretentious and lame. The screenplay is awful, the editing is even worse and the sound mixing is also bad since there's lots of dialogue that cannot be heard properly. Music was good though and the performances as well but my god is the film's screenplay and writing just awful.

If she is saying that I really wish your father died that day and he raised his hand due to impulsiveness, what do you want him to do in that situation? in the movie its a different situation n u really cant judge from here but in trailer as well anyone can be easily triggered by such a statement... I dont support any violence of any nature but there are some situaltions where you get such reactions, just think of real environment..

I think you guys should stay away from this movie, I don't think modern women specially feminists can understand art as long as it is not showing strong female characters. Modern women are brainwashed to the core. But if you do watch it, just remember Ranbir is playing a role of a flawed character, and no men after watching him thinks this is how we are supposed to act. Maybe what i said sounds funny to some people but believe me Feminist can find flaw in anything as long as it is not against men.
The first scene, Ranbir literally plays Sanjay Dutt. That's beside, he should not be allowed to shout, sounds ominous when he speaks normally. Also, we are going to see that hair style a lot, it should be a rage among youth. Nah, m not watching this one.
