I liked the happy midpoint where it was worth solids but it was worth an amount that could be feasibly gained. Some people still traded for what they wanted but everything was still obtainable.

@@twilightraven1232 Pay wild is a different story because there are always paid items being released that can be matched to beta items. Beta items also can be won in rainbow expeditions after you pass the massive sapphire threshold.

i hate the animal jam trading economy can we go back to how it was when it was like "hey if i trade you these three worns, two bow and arrows and this fox hat can i get that spike?" "yeah sure sounds good!" but now its like "what can i trade for your spike" "15 den betas, 10 clothing betas, 5 good spikes and also your firstborn child"

glad you’re adjusting well LMAO, the aj worth system is actual ass and the worths go down and up every once in a while so you should always check the wikis! dim also means diamonds (because of shops which are kind of new type of trading system)

People get bored because of the lack of new items in the game and they start going after items no one initially cared for. there's a high chance that Rare Item Monday items are now extremely valuable too because they never show up in adventures and appeared for one day! But hey, at least it isn't like AJPW where either an item is extremely valuable or given to you for free!

I agree when you said people get bored because of the lack of new items. I haven't played animal jam since 2018 but coming back in 2023, I barely notice any difference. I see that there hasn't been any new items added in the game

i just hopped back into animal jam and it was so weird seeing my buddy list empty, all store bought items, non member with the ‘New Jammer’ but it was SO nostalgic, yet the trading and rare system was not it. I hopped back into this game and what it takes to get spiked collars now is absolutely INSANE. the community missed you, at least the ones who remembered do ❤️ as for that giveaway, my username is Modifiying and my favourite ice cream flavour has got to be fresh strawberry ice cream, not the artificial flavour one but the kind with actual strawberries in it, it’s SO good (also a lactose intolerant gal here hey LMAO)

I’m a non-member so I can’t enter the giveaway, I just wanted an excuse to say that Cold Stone Creamery’s ice cream is really good. I get this same mixture every time, I forget what it’s called, but it involves vanilla ice cream, cake bits, cake icing, and sprinkles, all inside a chocolate waffle cone. It’s so good, although it’s a sugar overload. I rarely get to talk about ice cream, it’s my favorite snack/dessert, so I’m taking this as an excuse to finally do so.

I'm finding it very hard to trade with people these days on... CLASSIC. Sorry Classic just fires me up, still not over it. 😅 After playing the 2 Animal Jam versions I found out that I had a LOT more joy with... CLASSIC. Mostly because if you are a old Animal Jam player returning, it is extremely nostalgic and will most likely break in between Play Wild. I feel like trading is hard for many reasons but the main reasons I've noticed is because: Not as many Jammers and Not as many new ITEMS either. I wish there was a website I could install on my phone to know the worth or trade with someone that's happy with the exchange for once. Jammers in Classic are actually more aggressive than I remembered... Which is hard for me liking Classic more now.

Also I just wanted to mention something very simple but now somewhat impossible... Ever since Animal Jam has been dealing with Hacks and Data Breaches, they've put down the options for usernames NOT to be changed. For an entire YEAR. I simply want to change my username, I beg of you. I keep writing in the suggestion box for them to please reopen changing usernames. If Animal Jam needs to deal with it's defenses first to stop hacks and such, I'm fully supportive of that but PLEASE show me some progress. 💔

Black Longs actually went down bc more ppl are having alot of solids as the means of currency, which ruined the WHOLE point of it's rarity in the first place. A Solid is worth about 2 red longs.

Black longs are 30 to 35 den betas or 2 red longs if not 4 to 5 bad longs Red longs are 20 den betas or 2 bad longs sometimes more Purple longs are 18 den betas or bad long plus 1 short black collar or 2 bad longs 😊 Blue longs are 16 to 17 den betas or 1 bad long plus 1 good short Pink longs are 15 den betas or 1 bad long plus 1 good long wrist Yellow longs are 14 or 1 bad long plus 1 good long wrist Green longs are 11 or 2 good short collars (people don't really like blue shorts in this case) Orange longs are 10 or 2 good shorts or 1 black short plus 3 to 4 den betas Beta elf tails are worth solids now a days same with headdresses, the easiest hd to get is the rim since it's 6 to 7 black longs worth, rare head feather are worth bad to good longs even a solid for one of them
