A variety of animals and reactions this week - Lions, Leopards and Hyenas !. Apologies the video is slightly late going up, we had issues with the video file being accepted. Let me know your thoughts and what was your favourite moments in the video, in the comments below. Thank you for the great support and many messages of goodwill on my recovery. Thanks a Mil !
I have a question have you ever thought about putting a book together with pictures of the wildlife that live on your sanctuary together that fans / guest can buy and color themselves... i love coloring its a total escape from all my medical issues when they act up ...
Awwww, Suja and Bongani got their headbumps before catnip time. They accept and miss you, as one of their own! They need to see you, as much as you need to see them! Khan said, where's my head scratches and treats? Duke was stealthing in the grass, wow. Soo sad to see Bobcat laying in the grass because he is sore, then walking around and stretching his legs. I hope Dr Caldwell can help Bobcat! Geena, such a beautiful girl! The hyenas are looking lovely and curious. Happy to see Nancy and Ringo, wanting to come closer. Thrilled to be pride leader, helping Kevin and his furry babies.😍🦁🐆🐾🙏❤
Ok Kevin I know it's all about members. For someone who has very little income. I struggle consider that. But I'm always watching an sharing an liking. Bobcat is important to me as well so plz let ppl who love him know what going on. I been your fan forever. Your my lion hero. So it hurts me when I hear something wrong. So plz share about bobcat please. I know you take good care of your animals. So that I don't worry. I just need to know if bobcat is ok
Kevin, I never thought that animals would have a negative impact on your injury. They were all glad to see you and enjoyed the treats that they're use to getting from you.
Poor Suji wanting to give Bongs a head bump and was told to P O Kev's mine. If they did not react to your moon boot, why would they react to your arm in a cast which is just a part of you, smells like you, like the clothes you wear. It is a more convenient and sturdy rubbing post though. I admit l did expect a little more from the hyenas, nothing nasty but at least a test bite from curiosity. Just goes to show how wrong the past 'experts' were. Keep that arm under careful use dude. You know and we know you do not want any setbacks! I had a deep gut reaction to seeing Bobcat like that. I think it is the first-time l have seen him under anesthetic.
You hinted at it but seeing the animals lifts the spirits and keeping positive helps recovery, keep getting the rest you need brother! Best regards from Tennessee, USA.
You are absolutely right - often it is we who need the participation of animals. Because when you don’t see the pets you love very much for a long time, life seems incomplete. Although these animals are not mine, I also look forward to each of your videos with great anticipation. This gives me strength in this life. So thanks for the video, Kevin.❤
I never really realized how big Geenas head was, wow... They're all so awesome & your relationship with them, so sweet. Hope your back up to 100% soon. 🐾🩵🐾🇨🇦😊 Can't wait to get my shirts ❤🩵🐾🩷🩵🐾
Nice greetings from all kids! The hyenas are soooo curious. What joy to share your relationship with them all, Kevin. Looking forward to finding out what is happening to our beloved Bobcat. You are looking good Kevin. I broke my left wrist as a kid, and had a cast just like yours all summer long. So I can commiserate with you. Take care. 💖🦁
This was a great series showing how the animals react to your injury. You can see how they just love and accept you. Hope your back to better than normal soon! 🤗💞
Thank you Kev for the video. Love me love my cast. That's the unconditional love we receive from animals, they don't bother about things like a cast. Great to see the Hyenas again, I miss them. I know I have mentioned before, it would be good to see you visit your soul brother, Kim, The Barefoot Whisperer. Sending love and blessings, stay healthy and happy.
This channel is so refreshing!!! I just scrolled through several channels where some guy was riding a lion like a horse and then another video where this same man had a lion rug made with the head still attached and was throwing the dead lion head in the face of a living lion to seee how he’d react. Then there was a channel where a lion was kept in an apartment and the guy was slapping the lion w newspaper roll bc he wanted to play video games and the lion was trying to “play.” It all made me sick to my stomach and I had to come to this channel to remind myself there’s good in this world and ppl who care about these beautiful animals ❤
I am glad to see Suja (my favorite Lion) & Bongani. They are looking great. 🥰😍🦁🦁 Good to see Geena's clan & black leopards Kahn & Duke. I hope you recover soon. I hope all the sanctuary's animals and humans are fine. Thank you, Kevin, George & the Team.
Being able to rub and give scratches to full-grown male lions has to be both terrifying and exhilarating at the same time!!! Hyena are one of the goofiest looking animals, ever!!! Hope your arm heals quickly!!!
Love all your videos and it is amazing to see how they reacted to your cast and yes it helps in your recovering see them and it is nice to see them respond to them helping you. Hope your pain is getting better.
I'm so happy you are still alive and no one has eaten you alive. 🤣🤣 #justjoking - I knew they would still love you and see you as their friend or "papa".
Kevin, I understand wanting to see your animal friends. Being around animals has a calming, healing effect as well as working wonders to ease depression. I laughed when you were talking to Geena, telling her don’t run away from Daddy. We true animal lovers talk in an exaggerated tone when speaking to our animals. I speak in that tone to the birds, squirrels, chipmunks, bunnies, and raccoons in my yard. My neighbor thinks I’ve lost my mind. 😂 That’s ok, I’m happy. I’ll continue to pray for you and Mr. Big. It’s incredible how much I love your animals. You and they have become a big part of my life. God bless you. Love and respect from Tennessee USA. 💕
I'd love to see someone do a documentary on Kevin and his sanctuary, his personal story, how it all started, the individual relationships with these magnificient creatures, etc.
Dangerous Companions is on You tube. There is a doc about him moving the animals to the sanctuary Lions on the move 1&2. And his book is a great read Part of The Pride.
He worked at a lion park a couple of decades ago. When he left, he took all these animals except for George and Yame with him. (George and Yame were rescued in Spain and he agreed to take them in and give them a permanent home). He has known them all and raised quite a few from birth or very young cubs and got to know them and their temperaments and read their body language. He did it to such a degree that he is accepted as part of their pride or clan.
If you are a brutal keeper of the animals in your care, relying only on fear and force to maintain control, then yes you better be careful around them if injured. It doesn't matter if they're lions or horses. They have excellent memories of how they are treated. I've seen abused horses wait patiently for an opportunity to get back at individuals who have tormented them. When that person let their guard down or was visibly weakened... WHAM! Kevin doesn't operate that way with those in his care. Having an actual consistent and mutually respectful relationship pays off in the long term. It's why these big Cats and Hyeanas can be trusted by Kev, when he isn't 100%.
They don't see that as an injury, Kevin acts naturally, no sign of pain or limping or anything. It would be more interesting how they react at the moment when the injury happens. I would guess still friendly reaction, but who knows.
Kevin, I think they're used to you smelling funny. Better when food funny, lol. They probably think, 'sheesh, we're careful, the gates, not much!' 👍🏼💙💙💙🥰✌🏽
He has been in with the lions with an actively bleeding wound, and they did nothing. l don't know about the hyenas but he has been in there with them with deep scratches on his arm.
U hv lost a bit of weight. U do look a bit under the weather. I recommend rest so that u recoup soon. Yes, n i feel u r not delegating/ sharing yr work duties. The whole burden has to b equally shared.
They act in the same way my house furries (cats) act to anything outwardly new. He's not sick so they have no need to fuss, same with my cats. Now when I'm in a lot of pain than my cats do fuss; follow me around, stick with me, and one will prevent me from walking fast, and so I wonder how they would react if Keven were actually "ill".
What I love most is the fact that Kevin sincerely loves and appreciates all of us pride members. I’m honored to be part of the pride!! Thank you for giving us this incredible gift Kevin.
Ah! How I love and adore them!🥰🤗💗 Every Friday, watching the videos that Kevin Richardson posts automatically improves my mood! They give me a lot of joy and smiles! Incredibly smart, beautiful and wise creatures! Love them all!!! 💗🦁🐈🐈⬛💗 Kevin Richardson, I wish you a speedy recovery! Be always healthy and happy! Take care of yourself! 🙏🏼💗
@@LionWhispererTV 🥰 You're in my prayers! Get well soon, Kevin Richardson! Take care of yourself! Be healthy and happy and never get sick! Much love! 💗
Lions, leopards and hyenas...what more can one want? Love them all! Watching the regal Suja and Bongani rolling around like cubs, wanting their belly rubs and catnip, tugs at my heartstrings. I can't wait to see Monday's video on Bobcat's visit from Dr. Caldwell. Wishing you all well❤
The depth of respect the animals show Kevin is amazing . They truly see him as just another member of the pride or pack. ps. get better soon Kevin and take good care of yourself :)
Coming here, from all the madness and evil in the world, and seeing the wonderful lions, leopards and hyenas. Not even a twinkel of an evil thought in them. It is so refreshing, nerve calming, and happiness inducing. Thanks for all You do with these animals.
Can't thank you enough for sharing moments like this. I'll take the smiles where I can get them these days. Much love to the animals, yourself, and all the staff.
Khan:" I'm not interested in your cast, Kevin! Where are my Pilchards!?" 😅🐆🐆Geena's greeting was so cute and funny- somehow she and the hyenas generally always manage to look so naughty, but in a lovable way😊Nice to see the catnip kings react too! 🦁I hope that Bobcat is okay?😯
It is extremely soothing to watch your interactions with the animals. I have enormous respect for people who are dedicated to the protection and well-being of wildlife.
Loved seeing the hyenas! I think they are one animal species that gets under looked and under appreciated. But thank you Kevin, for educating us about these wonderful animals❤ Keep safe and sending love to all the animals.
