Shreyas is a Assistant Music Director of Sanjay leela Bhansali, he was individually composed one song of Bajirao Mastani "Gajanana" Sung by Sukwindar singh and lyrics by Prashant Ingole. In same film he sung one song also.. He did some of songs with Sonu Nigama, he is originally from Nagpur and his guru is Suresh Wadkarji

Sreyash Puranik, Siddharth and Garima, I was familiar with you through the Bhansali projects. With this, you have struck chords that had otherwise gone numb with the battering by all the noise around, posing as music. Thank you. "Jogi main, aur Ganga hai yeh ishq re" "Mann maatam, aur zinda hai yeh ishq re." What lines. What melody. The komal note in the chords around 3:32 in the song, comes like a knife jab in the heart! "Satranga" the entire creation, feels like a combination of Shailendra and Madan Mohan. Undoubtedly the best this year.

One amazing fact that Shreyas forgot to mention is that this beautiful composition is on C major chord and on a keyboard the entire song is on white keys, not a single black key :) Fabulous melody Shreyas, like many, I've been crooning Satranga ever since and planning to cover it soon.
