I like watching random science videos, and this popped up on my feed, so I clicked it. Every moment I stopped hearing english, I thought i was losing my mind lmao, then i realized you were just switching between 2 languages. Love the video. If you could, kindly add some eng subtitles to make following the video easier that would be lovely.
Hi Sir! Thank you so much for the feedback. I apologize for this. Lol. My main target audience are Filipino agriculturist that's why I am using 2 languages. And I will take note of your recommendation. Soon, if I'll be having more time, I'll add subtitles to accommodate non-Filipino audiences. In the meantime, you can also learn tagalog if you want. Lol. Thank you so much for this comment. It means a lot, serioously!
@learningAgriwithAl OH, that's so cool! Don't stress it, honestly lol! My aunt is Philipino but doesn't speak a lick of any languages from the Philippines, so I didn't get a chance to learn anything, but I still watched the video in full. Have a great day, and keep on teaching!
Hi there! 😊 I'll be discussing breeding soon, including the different types in another video. But to answer your question about pure breeding, it's the process where two animals of the same breed are mated to produce uniform offspring. For example, isang Large White sow ang ipapamate sa isang Large White boar. Ang purpose nito ay para mapanatili at mapangalagaan ang quality characteristics ng isang breed. 😊
Sir in connection with this Q&A gusto ko lang po malaman ano answer nyo to this question kasi feeling ko mali yung answer na nasa reviewer, as per the reviewer ang answer daw po dito ay "A. sex-linked inheritance" In my opinion po yung mga traits like barred plumage, broodiness and cryptorchidism are only expressed sa isang gender, either female or male lang po. Ano po kaya sa tingin nyo? barred plumage in poultry, broodiness in poultry, rapid feathering & slow feathering in poultry, cryptorchidism in horses and white eye in drosophila are examples of ____ a. sex-linked inheritance b. sex-limited inheritance c. sex-influenced inheritance d. epistasis
Hi there! Good question, hindi ganon kaobvious yung sagot but the answer is sex linked inheritance. Why sex link? Kasi itong mga trait na ito ay nagmamanifest within the sex chromosome (X and Y or Z and W if birds). You might be tempted to put it as Sex limited pero ang sex limited sa autosome yan nagpapakita. For instance Barred plumage is located in the Z chromosome of birds, and cryptorchidism is influenced by X Chromosome. White eye in Drosophila naman is a classic example of sex-linked inheritance first studied where the gene for eye color is located on the X chromosome. :) Hope this helps clear things up. :)
