Animal Spirit Decks & First Impressions of "The Spirit Animal Oracle" 

This was a fantastic video comparison and really helped me to consider how I feel about my current animal oracles vs ones on my wishlist! I did do a little google look-up on the bear thing and it turns out that, while all grizzly bears are brown bears, not all brown bears are grizzly bears (i know... confusing, right?!) Here's the tidbit I found: "Grizzly bears and brown bears are the same species (Ursus arctos), but grizzly bears are currently considered to be a separate subspecies (U. a. horribilis).... In North America, brown bears are generally considered to be those of the species that have access to coastal food resources like salmon. Grizzly bears live further inland and typically do not have access to marine-derived food resources." Perhaps this will create some further harmony for you with that card and I learned something interesting and new today! Thank you!!

Great Vid. I just got the steven farmer deck and love how he put a layer of protectiveness over the basic card.

thank you for this video, I would not have found Sandra's deck if it wasn't for you. Many decks didn't sit well with me and then I saw your review and the first card from her deck and I knew that was the one. The message about spider spirit you read hit it home, it is a true gem

Lovely cards. Helpful reviews. Thanks. Ursus arctos is the species also correctly referred to as Brown Bear. It is a larger species categorization that includes the brown bears of Eurasia & the Grizzy subspecies of N America. Ursus americanus is also called Black Bear & can be any fur color from jet black to the white/blonde Spirit Bears of the Pacific Northwest.

Colette Baron Reid has beautiful decks but that's because of the artist. Theres the common vibe of her always being a little "off" in each deck. It could be the ego tarnishing the intuition. Its disappointing because even though shes has been successful with her decks I feel the sense that theres just so much lost potential. Some of her decks are just too distracting. Like "The Good Tarot." I honestly believe it's the artist and the illustrations that carry her decks.
