i have this extension. I added it because I really like animal crossing. my laptop is full of animal crossing. I use the extension for searching something on RU-vid or watching twitch.
it is really cute for sure! also when typing with numbers and this sound effect, it's like playing a little piano :3 it only worked sometimes and then it stopped but it doesnt matter. i love the extension anyways
That's actually not a bad idea! I've wanted to add more villager voice types and update some other stuff for awhile, but I haven't had any time recently. I'll try to get it on there sometime this week I think
Yes! I had to update the audio file type and added some extra stuff: There is some pitch variation in the sounds. Typing in caps has a slightly higher/louder pitch. Special characters and some other keys play unique sounds. And a BUNCH of other minor stuff
@@dagexviii I got an idea for an update that might help some users who are used to the way this used to sound, what if you added an option to make it sound like it used to?
@@KittyCatKayden Hmm, that may be due to the fact I'm using a different audio file format, which unfortunately, I can't do much about. If it's the pitch variation you are talking about, I definitely would be able to add settings to customize that!
Do you mean voices for characters like Isabelle or Tom Nook? Those characters use one of the 8 voice types already in the extension, however they have their own voice profile in game that dynamically changes pitch and tone. Every villager has a unique and iconic voice because of this. I was able to get the baseline animalese sounds from the games, but perfectly recreating the slight pitch changes for certain characters is a little beyond me. Apologies for the long winded answer lol
well it's hard to say.. :/ some sites can block the use of extensions on the site altogether. It should work on any websites that allow extensions, which are most sites tbh
