Lmao if this is only 2 riffs then every other song in the world is only -3. There’s so many transitional measures. and to me that’s way harder to do well than writing riffs that sound cool.

Theres much more to be impressed with here other than the formula all good songs are written by, the whole "3 chord song" "4 chord song" thing.

I made the mistake of starting to learn it before actually seeing how it was played. Now I have to undo my muscle memory because I wasn't hybrid picking the first riff at all

He just plays over the whole song. Its literally the audio from the song, completely unchanged in any way. Now, Tosin Abasi, when performing this live, also does this, so I'd say this is the way to go.
