I feel you. 30 years ago, when my son was 3, I took him to our local zoo. At the end of our trip, I told him I wanted to give him the experience, but I'll likely never return to a zoo. I don't like seeing animals like that. It does make me feel better knowing they're rescues, though.
❤❤❤this brought me to tears. Thank you for giving these precious animals a chance at their best life. God bless people with compassion in their heart!!!
To see the chimps awe, clinging to each other for reassurance and their excitement....its like they are saying "thank gawd we made it to this day, we made it bro"
this video hurts my heart. i adopt abused and special needs cats, and i have fed a cat colony since 2010. there is one cat left in the colony, and she is spoiled. she loves not having to share her food with anyone, or having to fight for a good shelter to sleep in. my 2 indoors dont go out, and they are not kept in a cage. they are free to go wherever they want, given good food, lots of toys, and comfy blankies everywhere. my heart just hurts and aches for all of those animals!
It’s amazing to me to see the strength and agility of these chimps surviving a lifetime in a cage without severe detrimental atrophy. God bless them and their rescuers.
The amazement on their faces breaks my heart and soul. Then to see them with so much space. I wish they could have more. These animals deserve so much better than this.
I struggle with feelings of rage towards the people that subject these animals to inhumane conditions and torturous lives. Immeasurable thanks to the folks that rescued these innocent victims of cruelty.
Humans need to do better for animals. Stop caging them, stop captive breeding, stop animal testing, just stop treating them like "things" and start treating them like the sentient beings they are! Let them live wild and free!
Chimps are my least favourite of the monkey world but watching these boys hugging and staring in awe at the wonders around them. My favourite is of the tigers playing in the water for probably the first time. God bless you all for saving these beautiful animals 🙏 ❤
True, but some of these Animals would've died otherwise. I don't like Animals to be caged, but if it saves their lives, then I will "tolerate" it... however, seeing the Animals that are able to return to the wild, actually being returned to the wild is heartwarming.
@@Arnell_Mediocrity_Long true, like I'm fine with animal sanctuaries for one's that are lame or would die without human intervention- mostly bc places like that have a ton of space and property, and they're not kept in cages. I have mixed feelings about zoos though, which is why I've never been to one in my entire life.
Great work people. This world was created for good people. Goodness will prevail over evil. These wonderful people are undoing the wrongs that have been done.
Yeah, the pigeons are released, and then they race each other back to their cages. It was touching to see the Macaw Caregiver cry as he was seeing his favorite birds take to the sky. He loved them. Seeing them go was breaking his heart, but he was giving them his blessings and wishing them luck. They'll meet again in Heaven. Thumbs up!
No animals should be caged! Zoos & circuses should be illegal!! Noone has the right to steal a life!!!!! ANIMAL EXPEREMENTS ARE STILL HAPPENING! THAT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL, WHAT A HORROR FOR THOSE INNOCENT ANIMALS!!!!! I can't even watch this.
Planting some trees around the outside perimeter of the tigers’ enclosures would go a long way to keeping them a lot cooler and it would look so much better.
Those tigers were being rescued by four paws. It’s a holding area to get the big cats ready for the next part of their journey. They all needed up at Lions Rock in South Africa. It takes a lot of organising to firstly to “ rescue” the animal and then to be allowed to move it. I have been involved in animal rescue with many large rescue organisations and in every case we had problems moving animals from on part of the world to another due to politics. It amazes me that it can take years to do this legally and a few weeks if you are an animal smuggler. Strange.
I love animals of all kinds. Life is precious. Some of these animals seeing freedom is joyous and sweet. Know that people who have helped free /release give me hope for kindness and compassion.
I have the opposite. Formerly feral clip eared trap spay release kitty. 5 months of coexisting?Year 5? All the love. She hates outside. Cat tree in front of window, watching bird feeder live. ❤😺
It is a disgrace what humans do to animals by locking them up in a cage! All cages must be forbidden forever! Giving the animal freedom is the most beautifull thing to see.
I had a budgie once , my wife bought it for the kids in a cage. I used to let it out in the house, It eventually flew out the window, kids were crying, but honestly I was over the moon.
Animals belong in their natural habitat. For them to see the outdoors for the first time is very heartbreaking. It's ashamed evil humans can be so cruel & heartless.
I hate how some of these animals are released at the end of their lives, like with the chimps, 40 years in captivity, why at 40 years were they rescued? It's just so sad.
Can you imagine the pain and horror of being encaged your whole life, never knowing the open sky and air? Oh it can make you weep. And now, to see them finally know freedom is so beautiful, that makes me weep too!
I once had the most amazing dream, it was so vivid like a vision, I was creeping through long tall grass and I could see everything in startling vivid colours, the sun was beaking down on me and I could feel it's warmth, and I could see just through the reeds and grass, then I woke up and knew that I was at that moment a TIGER, I could feel all the energy through my body like a powerhouse, pumping through, the whole world was my oyster, I was a super being of remarkable energy and power. This is true.
Solano county sells all animals that don’t get adopted to UCDavis Medical university, so however long their lives are will be spent being subjected to medical experiments.
I volunteered at a rehabilitation center. We had a tiger brought to us that had lived his whole life in a house. He was given an outdoor enclosure and plenty of places to hide and things to play with and eat. He was so terrified of everything he had to be put down. These are wild animals, not pets.
Lovely video, but you end totally wrong by assuming these pigeons have a good life. No! They are asked to fly a very long distance. But yes, they are drivven to go home, so they will go! A lot of them, don't make it home. Or they have to rest in between somewhere, because they are exhausted. If they finally got home, too late, the owners can't use them anymore, because they are proven to be unfit, too slow. So those birds are being killed. Not a nice sport for the birds themselves....
"Free at last, free at last, thank God almighty, we are free at last!" Martin Luther King, "I Have A Dream". IMO, no living being has the right to cage or limit the liberty of any other living being for any reason whatsoever.
I worry about all the once captive animals released into the wild without animal mentors to help them navigate in the wild. I hope there were feeding stations for them. The Tigers with the pool...not a single tree of bush. There didn't seem to be grass or real shade.
The white rabbits can't be allowed to stay outside because they don't blend into the backfpground like regular wild rabbits. They have no protective coloring and will soon be lunch for a hawk.
In ixtapa zihuatanejo Mexico, in a restaurant I saw 6 dolphins in a swimming pool totally disoriented and trying to get attention from people, no one seems to care😢I wanted to call American animal rescue. It just make me cry. If anybody is reading this I can give you the address of where they’re, please help them
As heartbreaking it is to think about these beautiful animals past abuse, for some it’s not a great new area but many a great new beginning. Humans need to do so much more for animal rights 💔 we do not have to use animals for experiments, there are far more superior computer models, stem cells.
those chimps are frightened a chimp showing its teeth like that is a sign of distress not joy, I accept that they will be better off but they are still destressed at point of release hugging for comfort and reassurance it suggests that a slower small cage to wider enviroment would be better.
This is devastating to witness, im utterly in tears for these beautiful creatures, humans can be disgusting..give me animals any day. Jesus Christ I feel sick at the treatment of the chimpanzee 😢😢
THANK YOU to all the people involved in these “freedoms”! I know the animals are not going back into the wild, but being released from cages into areas with grass, trees, water, fresh air - how much better their lives will be. Again, THANK YOU ALL!!!
It hurt to watch these animals reactions. I wonder how we would feel if the same thing was done to us. Never will go to a zoo or any such places where animals are kept in captivity just for our pleasure.
@@sereanaduwai8313 it's not about the zoo itself, it's how they treat them and what kind of enclosure they have. Is it a box with some water, or is it an actual field with a man made waterfall and toys/hiding/quiet places? Zoo's are an incredible way to see animals that we never would've imagined seeing any other way. My main thing is how they're actually treated as many of them also wouldn't be able to survive in the wild anyways.
These video clips are both heartbreaking and beautiful. Heartbreaking to hear their backstories then beautiful to see their expressions of joy upon release. Thank you for saving these beautiful creatures and letting them be free. It is really awe inspiring to see their happiness.
Let’s take a look at the way you feel. Did you want to just let these animals lose in the country and city. Where they were put is a lot better than in a tiny cage.
5:17 I'm Bulgarian and as a kid there were one or two circuses traveling around the country (they were huge btw) and we went from school to see one of the performances. Some of it was of big cats and many of us started crying and had to be escorted by a teacher out until the rest of the performance finished. We were shaken by the cages and the whips around those magnificent creatures (though we didn't understand everything at the time). I'm glad to see that the people from my generation freed the very last of the tigers and gave him a beautiful new home ❤.
These are emotional and beautiful scenes but also so sad ; animals should never be encaged in the first placed! Humans with their endless greed are a doomed specy
