I agree with some old youtube video, fish is a failing term. They compared it to calling everything that flies a bird (if it lays eggs). Shark has live young. There's too many things called fish! I liked it better when we called sharks seadogs...🤣

Allmost half of them aren´t released into the wild, just released into a slightly better environment/sanctuary or just to the meadows after the winter. I like my steak/burger, the better life for the animal, the better. I don´t like bush meat and i simply reject so called chinese medicine. I´m a cat person and I embrace predatorship. How could I not? The better the life, the better the meat. BUT why make animals extinct, because we don´t like the meat? "Nose to tail" rocks, like in the animal kingdom. Nothing goes to waste. BUT putting humans above everything is just wrong. We are just animals, greedy, capable, stupid, hungry animals. What seperates us from all the other animals is the exorbitant greed. Nothing to be proud of. Just like the need to be accepted by others. Another form of greed. Maybe the worst kind over all.

I have been Blessed to have known the Goodalls a whole lot of them all are very good people they don't judge like most .

@@minkgin3370 agree and zoos. This should be the last generation of zoo animals for ones that are not endangered. We can have interactive holo zoos now. Wanna see how big a tiger is compared to you, we can do that.

@@minkgin3370that’s been started, circuses are dying, I think zoos are next but people have to be realistic as to the lifespans of animals already living in captivity so zoos and circuses won’t cease to exist immediately, it’s a process but look how fast Blackfish brought about the downfall of Sea World.

They are really big... once i was driving home and I saw this creature on the road ahead of me.. i slowed down and saw it was a vulture.. feeding on a dead animal.. I couldnt believe the size.. it didnt even move when i slowed my car.. too bad i didnt have my phone with me lol

Collars need a power source so that their emitters signals can be followed by satelites....

Chips are passive devices. They do not have a power source and can only be read when a powered reading device is brought into close proximity. The collars on many of these animals have a battery power supply and transmit signals so the animal can be monitored for a few weeks. There is a part of the collar that degrades and rots away, allowing the device to fall off after a few weeks when the battery is flat anyway and is no longer transmitting. The first few weeks of freedom are not easy for a rehabilitated animal and it’s important to keep monitoring to ensure they are ok and not starving.

Those bovine are on a dairy farm and are being let back out of the barn that they've spent the winter in. This clip doesn't belong here and is one of many that don't.

The pigeon release is not setting them free. These are racer pigeons and are released for games purpose. Which ever reaches back home first wins.

They monitor their location and progress for awhile and eventually they will be caught and the collar will be removed. It won't outgrow the collar
