Honestly for what is is, Zeorymer is pretty great in what it sets out to do and does just enough to not feel it wastes everything. That and the fantastic productions values, the superb art direction, eiji kawamura’s score and a top notch voice cast make it up there with the best in terms of 80s mecha. While I prefer the japanese version, I wouldn’t call the Mediablasters bad if anything it’s pretty good honestly and feels respectful enough.
Most BGMs of Zeorymer were from Eiji Kawamura and Ryudo Uzaki, who both worked for Kamen Rider Black. It has the same style and theme like the attack sequence of the base and the music instruments for Black and Zeorymer because both were released in the same year.
I have such fond memories of this. I got all three (I think it was 3) VHS tapes for Christmas along with Akira VHS special edition. I think it was 95 or 96. Good stuff a little clique but fun
