I watched it religiously, at least the first couple of seasons, and I absolutely love the reboot. I'm shocked they got it so right tbh as I usually despise reboots. People complaining should go watch the first ep of the original series. Refresh those memories.

Funny people are going to complain about Animaniacs being too political when the original took every opportunity to dunk on Newt Gengrich.

There are people complaining about all the Trump jokes, but forgetting that political jokes were extremely common in both Animaniacs AND its predecessor Tiny Toon Adventures. Hell, TTA made fun of Trump twice, and Pinky and the Brain mocked Bill Clinton and Al Gore, alongside Rush Limbaugh.

I love Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Tiny Toon Adventures and Freakazoid. Watching cartoons are an escape for me during these difficult times.

Me and my girlfriend were talking about hiw awesome it would be if the Animaniacs came out with new episodes. We cried when we saw the trailer! Those puppy children with the spooky faces are back!

BTW, I really liked the Seth Myers gags, it felt like a call back to how Tiny Toon Adventures made fun of David Letterman's Late Night show. Tiny Toons made of of it all the time but in reality, Letterman was the writers favorite late night show at the time.

@33:15 that was the whole formula for the original that they could have built on again. They were locked away in the 50s, escaped in the 90s, locked back up in the 90s and escaped again in 2020. New decade, new millennium same crazy assholes!

Man I was born in 1990 and growing up, I used to watch the Animaniacs a lot when it came on TV! Old memories always sticks with you.

I was more of a Tiny Toons kid but Animaniacs brought alot of joy as a follow up back in the day. I'm going to check this out.

Eh. I'd prefer if they brought back the skits too. Good idea bad idea, Mr skull head, goodfeathers, etc.

Wakko was originally a Ringo impression, just because the producers felt it was different from every other audition they'd heard but over the course of the series, he moved toward a more gravelly, higher pitched, voice you'll hear in the reboot. Still got a British twang to it.

Those Trump jokes, I'm already expecting the 4chan and anti-sjw crowd to come after it anytime soon and say that the Animaniacs is now full of "social messages, Sjw agendas and pandering to left extremists".. forgetting that the original Animaniacs held back no punches and made fun of everyone while making jokes that flew pass the radar. They'll talk about the sexy jokes and nonpc stuff but forget they also made fun of political figures too, heck they even mention Newt Gingrich at one point in the 90s. So yeah expect this to be a controversial show despite making fun of a already ridiculous public figure like Trump.

I just realized that the guy in the beginning of the clip was voiced by the same guy who did the clown that wacko was scared of and kept hurting because he was scared of him in the original Chow

I have a feeling we might see more of old cast in later seasons. Season 1 is really testing the waters and see what happens. DT crew remarks are fair and reasonable. I'm not looking for any South Park type show, but a whacky show that talks about everyone. Furthermore, I'm not disrespecting South Park and it's legacy, but I don't watch the show anymore. I just move on with my life.

I normally don’t comment and I love your channel, but in the “Bun Control” sketch that was NOT Stephen King. That was a parody of Wayne LaPierre, the head of the NRA (hence Duane LaPistole and how it ties to Gun/Bun Control). Same reason that the final punchline was calling the Australians who successfully got gun control through a gun buyback program (hence the Dingos). Keep up the great content and I hope this helps understand the confusion of that sketch!

'Water go down the hole' I watched Tiny Toon Adventures every day after school. 90's cartoons are the absolute best, I grew up in a very special time!

I really really can’t wait to see this awesome reboot! Animaniacs has always been my favorite animated tv show sense I was 11.

I mean, I'll have to watch it, but that doesn't seem like a Stephen King parody.

I honestly think the animation looked better in the original series than it does in the trailers for this revival.

The thing about reboot and remakes or soft-reboots, it's a hit or miss. the ducktales reboot for example I think is way better then the originals, but the originals have flaws like outdated stereotypes flaws. (your unlikeable stereotype girl who acts to cutesy and sweet, and the stereotype fat kid who likes to eat) That's why the reboot is better, as they killed those crigney stereotypes and change them into a hyperactive girl who learning how to become a spy, and the fat kid became the strange creepy spoiled rich kid, who is really creepy. And if you guys watch every old school Animaniacs episode, you should know there a certain risque character (there version of Fifi la fume but ranked to 11) that I don't know if the reboot gonna use.

I found ANIMANIACS 2020 to be just as good as the original series... which is solid but not great. I know they always break the 4th wall, but what's with all the jokes about how successful the original was? OK, mentioning the awards they've won I can understand, since that's stating a fact, but saying that their satire is biting? In 3 different episodes? It's too subjective, so it comes off as self-congratulatory more than a clever observation. *Spoilers ahead!* -In E1, The Brain's plan is to hypnotize people to like him with a filter. Pinky ruins this by hypnotizing everyone to like a pig. Why doesn't The Brain just hypnotize them again? Why does he give up? Later,, the guards explain to the Warners what "reboot" means... even though they had already used that term earlier in the episode. Hmmm... -In E5, the audience is meant to believe that most of the supporting characters from the original series were hunted. They eventually reveal that they're alive after all. Did I miss something? Why were they pretending to be dead? -E11 is a Halloween-themed episode. Even the title sequence is a little different. Isn't that only done with shows that air on a weekly basis? You know, because they'll only have 1 episode airing around October 31. This show released all the episodes at the same time... in November! There's a segment called BRIDE OF PINKY. It's pretty obvious what it parodies, right? Well, Pinky doesn't play Frankenstein's Monster. He's not even called Pinky, but Pigor. To be fair, BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN was also an inaccurate title, since the character was going to marry the monster, not the doctor. -In E12, Pinky & The Brain are on the Venice canals. Suddenly, a big fish bites half of their boat off, but they manage to keep going. How do they stay afloat?

I just can't wait to see the global domination of Pinky and The Brain! If you look at its wiki, the Episode line-up for Pinky and The Brain looks similar to its 90s release.Like the first Episode is titled as Of Mice and Memes resembling it's earlier episode (Of the mouse and man).

I thought the show was very far left leaning and was totally made for older fans. There are very few jokes and story lines that a 6 -11 year old kid in 2020 would get. In the old show there were a lot of jokes that I didn't get at the time, but the jokes were still funny an presented in a way the old looney tunes jokes were told. IE: the reference isn't the joke, but it ads to it. I did really like the reboot and I look forward to more episodes. Let's hope the reboot eventually ads in more of the old characters.

the charm of this show was its random, the gags, like good idea bad idea, if they're just going to cut all of that out then its not the real show, it's just a show were they only had like 4 people. i love Animaniacs, but they can't just cut all the things that made them a classic show or it would just be something you would just turn off. and when i heard as of right now none of that is happening? is pretty disappointing since i grew up with this show in the 90s.. i hope it gets better. also the word is your not nick picking your a fan, and if its not there then its simply not there in which its sad they went down this route instead of the thing we hoped for.
