I remember that show when it aired first on FOX for its first two years and then on The WB for the remainder of its run. Today, although The WB and UPN have since merged into The CW and FOX now has reboots of old favorites, Animaniacs still lives on DVD.

@@danalong1237 It also lived once again for 3 seasons on Hulu, who knows if there will be more episodes though. Season 3 was a bit shorter than the first two seasons, also felt like the weakest of the 3 newer seasons IMO.

The SNES was top-down platforming, The Genesis was The Mis-Edventures before the Mis-Edventures was made.

@@davidthecommenter SNES one was more isometric, with the sprites being normal side scrolling, a strange mix that somehow worked. But then again that era of Konami was truly great.

This versions way better in my opinion. Audio may suffer, but this one has animated-esh cutscenes, animated characters in the title, better colour depth, runs better, looks better..

It's not a bad game, weird how Konami went with a puzzle element to this game. But the way they implement the strengths and weaknesses with each character, and how to use them for parts of each stage is cool. And thankfully to change characters isn't complicated, one press of a button does the trick, that is also nice.

We got treated to two great Animaniacs games during the 16 bit era.

That era of Konami was one where they expected you to beat their games on higher difficulty settings to get any kind of reward. Playing on a lower difficulty setting would only end with the game trolling you.
